When my old car phone holder fell apart, I dreaded looking for a new one, because I didn't want to use the magnet puck holders. I was thrilled to see this Lisen holder. Though named for airplanes, it's highly adaptable to vehicle vents, dashboards, and other parts, as well as to office items. It even works great on flat surfaces like tabletops! The head has lots of twisty adjustability, opens wide, has a deep soft grip, and it even has a light! The head spins on multiple axes with just the right resistance to stay put, yet be easily adjusted. The spring that grips the phone is pretty strong, to hold the phone securely. So, I use both hands to remove my phone, but that's better than it falling out! I have no concern about it falling out because of bumps, etc., like my prior holder. It's worked well with various smartphones in multiple vehicles for over a week, so I want to get more. I'm glad I gave it a try! Read more

Needed something like this since I travel quite often and very happy so far. It’s well made and should last a while, I was able to use it both when tray is extended and collapsed since it rotates. The light itself is not very useful to me, but I may let my wife use it for video calls since she uses a separate light already. Read more

The light needs to be charged. It requires 2 rapid pushes on the light button to turn on the light. I push will not do it and the two pushes must be fast. Read more

IT works only if the tray table is out. What if I want to use it over the tray table when it is docked then this would not work. It is great product for edge holding but It did not meet my purpose. Hence the 3 star. I would have given it five star if it had the flexibility to fit to any surface and have the phone flex to the view. Read more

Having used and liked the spring clamp style phone holders in the past, I believe these are a solid upgrade. The magnetic mount makes it easier to attach and remove a phone, and you don’t have to worry about where the power/volume buttons are. While I haven’t yet had the chance to test with a tablet, I believe the magnet seems like it would be string enough - and that would be another big advantage. Only downside is that although it folds up nicely, how the clamp is positioned makes it still pretty thick. This is minor - I would still buy again. Read more
