My camera just doesn't do it justice on how bright this light gets. The light auto-correction sensor in the camera makes it look no where as bright as it really is. It maxes out my little house plant meter at two feet away at the lowest 21000 lumen setting and it has even more brightness settings. In the box is the lighting unit, some wire nuts, a suspension wire, and an instruction manual. The wiring for this light is straight forward with the three wires for hot, neutral, and ground. However, there are two other wires attached to this light a pink one and a purple one. Very grateful for the manual on figuring those out and what they do. Those two wires are for a dimming system if you have one, otherwise they can just be tucked away and not used. With a bit of quick wiring to test out the lamp, I set it at the lowest Lumen setting with the warmer of the two color settings selected and then plugged it in. Holy Smokes! This lighting unit is bright! I don't advise looking at it for long unless you like light spots for a second in your vision. It is a bit blinding at lowest setting, I can only imagine what it's like at the higher Lumen settings. I was afraid it might disturb our neighbors with it on at night. I only used the mounting hook on the top of it to hang it in our soon to be woodworking area. The lamp is very light weight so it can easily be suspended from almost anything. I'm not sure we will even need another light in our little shop after this one. An excellent bright light fixture for almost any scenario where a lot of extra light is needed. When you open the box you'll know right away that this is definitely a commercial quality, super nice, heavy duty Baylight for the shop/garage. Our garage is one of those style that has the super high ceilings inside. I believe it's a two-story ceiling even though the garage is mostly one story. It's got stairs and a storage room up along one side. We may add a small apartment up there. Anyhow, you get how high the ceilings are. However, with the garage section having such high ceilings, we needed to get a light that would be strong enough to light up the whole garage so he can see what he's doing while working on things. If you think you want a bright light... well, you better mean it! This round bay light from Lithonia Lighting will change your world! Or maybe just your shop. Either way, this was like installing a small sun in my shop. I have been slowly but surely replacing the old failing fluorescent fixtures in my shop with LED. I think I'm going to have to just take down the rest of the fixtures and put these bay lights up. I am embarrassed at the disarray of my shop at the moment, thus no photos, but please know that just with one of these lights corners that have never seen the light are now completely bathed in light. I am finding cobwebs, dust, and lost screws that I've not seen before AND I am able to see projects I am working on much better. This light was very easy to install. It comes with plenty of electrical wire to be able to reach your junction box and has standard US wire colors of black, white, and green. Just a zip, zip, zip of the wire nuts on existing wiring and it's ready to go. There is a heavy duty hook on the top from which to hang it and an included cable (there are other ways to hang but this worked perfectly for me).
