The media could not be loaded. This is my go to curling wand system. I love that it comes with several different size barrels to give me options for curl dimension. I have naturally curly hair and I like to use the smaller wand to touch up some straighter piece. Or if I blow out my hair the 1-2 inch barrels give a nice wave. The price for this system is awesome and super affordable. I am very impressed at how hot this wand gets in order to reach the right temperature to hold the curl. Curling time varies depending on size of the wand. But it’s super easy to use and I love the design. It’s very easy to travel with since the barrels detach from the cord end. I have had to order this system a couple of times because it loses it strength to heat up the connected barrel but that’s due to how much I use it on myself and my clients hair. Not for me. For someone who naturally has thin and straighter hair, these would all work great to achieve the curl desired. For my unruly, thick, volumous, very textured, wavy hair it is not ideal, unfortunately. I am better off using my hair straighter that I wanted to replace, to get the same effect. It seems very durable and the heat settings are amazing. That was probably one of the biggest selling points for me. I am glad it came with the mat and a glove due to the heat capabilities. The cost was good for this product and would be worth it if it worked for me. The reason I cannot give 5 stars, is because while it could be amazing with more manageable hair, the flat curling attachment (similar to a regular hair straightener) is not as easy as I had hoped. I tried the whole device on multiple occassions hoping that even just that one attachment would work since it could help straighten as well. Instead, it caught hairs in the folds especially my baby hairs or the already curly ones, and would rip them out I adjusted my technique, yet still, it got them. By the time I was done, I had about as much hair ripped from my head as I do regular natural shed in a single day (roughly half a handful), but with pain and hairs that weren't supposed to shed yet. Lots of breakage, too. Therefore, I'll have some regrowth of length needed now. Very frustrating. All around good product for other hair types, but for now I am returning this and will stick with my straightener and occassional regular curling irons (when I get new ones). Hope those with more cooperative hair will see the results they desire! Read more

I don't do my hair often because it's naturally curly, and I am not very good at hair styling. Because my lack of skill I hate getting expensive hair tools because I just can't justify it. But this set works well, has all the options I need, and I can style my hair very quickly with this set. Also it heats up very quickly so switching between attachments is quick as well. Read more
Works great but wow does it get hot. I have burned myself multiple times now. but there is only a high and low setting. I do like the difference size options. But it does not have an automatic shut off which has been a problem as well. Read more
This hair curler set came as shown, with 5 different barrels, base unit, hot glove, and 2 hair clips. Very easy to put a barrel in. Be sure to twist the collar on the base unit to the lock symbol. The unit has a 2 level switch but no way to tell exactly what temperature it is. Trial and error are need to find the best setting for your hair. Removing the barrels is easy too. I turned off the unit and let it cool a bit. The glove provided is heat proof, and works well. Turn the collar to the unlock symbol, and give a tug on the barrel. It came right out! The variety of sizes and shapes makes this a versatile and affordable option for hair styling, and the overall length with barrel on is still under 12", so it's nicely portable. I got a neat little travel bag designed for the Dyson Airwrap that works well for this set. The power cord is a nice length, 5 or 6 feet! Overall this is a powerhouse set for hairstyling on the go or at home. Read more
