Not sure why Amazon would tag this product as "Frequently Returned". Have had it for a few days w/o issues. Safely lights my gas fire log fire place and lights candles as well. So far, satisfied with the product. The long extension is just what I needed. Would like the description to specify the warranty and how to contact the seller if there is problem. I needed something longer than the typical lighters for a gas grill and some other propane items. (Inevitably the built-in button light craps out and just clicks and clicks doing squat). Turning up gas and using a typical pen lighter often is a bit dangerous. This extension allows safe distance....and the head also bends, so you can get to difficult angles. Since its electric, its a spark rather than a flame, further increasing safety level. You needn't worry about a child playing with it and burning themselves (or the house). It's built solid, not like those flimsy plastic lighters. And it's USB chargeable...Seems to hold a charge fairly well. I only charged it once when I received it, and haven't had to recharge since. Usability: I mainly use this for my outdoor kitchen to light my propane cookware. It works very well thanks to its long handle. The partner is easy to press and simple to operate Durability: the majority of a lighter is a plastic construction however it is dirty if dropped multiple times. The issue I have is the wire within. The lighter itself is prone to being burnt rendering the lighter useless. I have bought this same product in the past, which has lasted me about a year. When it came time to replace it, I bought another one which barely lasted two months Charge: it uses a micro USB with an included wire to charge the device, which takes about a few hours from low battery to full charge. Can comfortably use the lighter for weeks on a single charge. Overall: has a potential of being a solid product however quality control is the downfall of these type of lighters. At this point, I would not recommend this particular product until the durability of the actual lighter itself is addressed. Read more
