The packaging arrives as shown in the pictures and the eyeliner tube has no words printed on--it is blank and gray all around. The liner itself is very PIGMENTED, as dark as displayed in the example images. It stays on throughout the day without flaking and remains dark, so there is no need for reapplication. Furthermore, it is SMUDGE-PROOF while dry (I've accidentally rubbed my eyes a few times while wearing this product and it has yet to betray me, so yay)! While wet, it is relatively easy to remove if a mistake is made with just a little water, but after it sets, which only takes about a half-minute to a minute, you will need a bit of make up remover or concealer to clean it up. Keep in mind that this liner is NOT WATERPROOF though. Be prepared for it to smear if you cry or sweat excessively, and maybe try to pay extra attention to how it holds up throughout the day if there's a lot of humidity in the air. Application is generally easy since the product glides on SMOOTHLY and the brush is very SOFT and easily curves with your movements. However, the brush is consistently thin but not pointed, so it may be a little difficult to get that perfectly sharp wing if you aren't used to it (like me). :-( I generally don't wear eyeliner, so this product does irritate my eyes a little upon every application, but after it dries, the irritation does gradually go away. IN July I ordered two Revlon Loreal Liquid Eye Liners from Amazon and received them on July 30. I assume they are probably sold through you from an outside vendor. Anyway, I have used nothing but Loreal Liquid Eye Liners for years and have never experienced a problem with them. Last week I opened one of them to use and was completely dissatisfied with the product. First of all when I removed the applicator to use, it "splattered" on my fingers and countertops and is very difficult to remove. I am able to apply the eyeliner on my eyelids, but trying to remove it with my eye makeup remover product(s) is almost impossible as it continues to "flake" onto my eyelids and upper cheeks. This eyeliner in no way what I have used for years! I am not asking to return the defective one or the unopened one (probably would have the same problem with it!) as it is not worth the effort on both of our parts (including return shipping cost) to do so! I just wanted to make you aware that if you have purchased these through another vendor, they need to know they are absolutely not the product I am used to and more importantly, not a product Amazon would want to sell as new!
