I love how compact the keyboard is and allows for a lot of room for the mouse, especially when you have a small desk like mine. The backlights are absolutely beautiful and the amount of customization makes this an amazing choice for people into aesthetically pleasing items. I chose red switches which are really nice and smooth to type with, however, when it comes to gaming the switches lack that 'click' that lets you know you've pressed the key. This has interfered with my gaming as I have accidentally pressed unwanted keys. But that is easily fixable as this keyboard is fully customizable and you are able to exchange the switches. This keyboard doesn't feel like it's cheap. Not that I know what an expensive keyboard feels like, but for those who just use keyboards for their basic functionality, I would 100% recommend this one for its price point. So far, this keyboard has been amazing to do work/game with. I recommend this keyboard for those who are looking for aesthetically pleasing keyboards and are on a budget. I also believe this is a good product to play games with if you understand how to modify switches to give yourself the best experience. For me, I'm looking to exchange some of the red switches with more tactile ones so I don't accidentally press down on them during games. Overall, I love this keyboard so much and I am in heaven using this keyboard to type out this review. I hope this has helped. Read more

This is the first Mechanical keyboard that I have ever purchased. I did a lot research before deciding on this keyboard. I didn't want something too expensive, nor did I want something too cheap. I think the price is really good for this keyboard, It works and feels really nice. I did have to put a little piece of foam and tape on the space bar because it was a little too loud. I also put a little piece of tape on the enter key, and now it feels and sounds just right. I am very pleased with this keyboard. It also looks like it build to last along time. I guess only time will tell. Read more

It came with some odd Jerzi red switch clones. These switches sound good/similar to my ducky one two mini Gateron Reds. They have a very light actuation force though, I noticed myself pressing space bar without intending. I purchased some AKKO Rose Reds but preferred these. I'm currently trying KTT Mint Liners that sound amazing in this keyboard. Hot swap is easy, and the board had some foam inside the case! I added a bit extra as it isn't too thick but I'm surprised to see it included in the board. The stabilizer are also pre lubed, haven't checked to see if they are clipped though. They also seem to have some foam between the pcb and plate. The keycaps aren't great like every other keyboard but I swapped them out with some XDA's and they add to the sound and experience. I'd suggest to move the logo on the side or back as it's a bit obnoxious sitting on the front and slightly better keycaps. With included foam, hot swap, and pre lubed stabilizers I find this hard to beat. Will update if I have longevity issues. Read more

Got the black version of this board and want to point out that the backplate is bright white. If you want to run it without the top cover you should expect that. Personally, I don't mind it and it makes the LEDs look better, but it is a touch less minimal. The LED indicators on the right are an inoffensive deep blue. Overall, It's hard to find criticisms with the board especially given the context of price. It has a nice weight to it. The switches to all but the pickiest users will be more than good enough, and while I had planned to replace my switches, I've not really found the need. It has more RGB presets than I'll ever care to use and they are well animated and plenty bright. The software on windows is a bit awkward but doesn't need to be running to have your settings stick. Settings seem to be stored on the board itself. I turned my PgUp and PgDn keys into volume keys without any real trouble. Once those changes were applied, those settings carried over to a MacOS system without a hitch. The keys have a nice readable font and even though the sound of the board isn't that muted deep sound that enthusiasts chase, it's not bad sounding. It's completely inoffensive and I don't hear any odd rattling or high-pitched tings off of the metal backplate when typing. It's way better than I expected for the price. It's just shockingly stable overall. The layout is great if you work in programs like Photoshop often and need a regular-sized modifier key for zoom shortcuts and the like on the right-hand side of the board. Nitpick-wise, on my particular board a few of the stabilizers were overly mushy. The backspace key in particular was pretty bad. Over time it has felt better but in the beginning, it was throwing off my typing until I got used to it. By no means bad enough to bother adjusting it. Also, the way the keys were molded for the shine-through can make the backlight on the legends look mildly uneven. Readability is fine, but it is noticeable when you look for it. The cable provided is a perfectly fine matte cable, but I would have gladly paid a few bucks more for a braided cable out of the box. It should also have a replacement keycap for Mac systems or a neutral Windows/Cmd key considering the overall Mac compatibility. I had all of these little mods planned for this board. Once I had it though, I just haven't felt the motivation. It's just a fantastic bit of kit and you just can't really go wrong with it unless you have remarkably high standards. I was coming from a much more expensive CODE keyboard from WASD keyboards I picked up ages ago and I vastly prefer this one in feel, sound, and looks. The few scant problems it has just doesn't detract from it just being a stupendous all-around keyboard. Read more
