EDIT: ok so I smelled something fishy and initially thought it was something in my bathroom but after cleaning everything and tracing back the smell, I found it to be this filter. It’s repugnant!! Like a barrel of month old rotted fish! Thankfully, I ran my bidet’s self cleaning mode for 30 minutes straight and that seems to have cleaned out the filter enough. I don’t smell anymore fish! So just to keep in mind anyone who runs into that issue. I got the Tushy 3.0 bidet and couldn’t find a dang filter that fits it!! This LUXE *PRO* version did the trick! Perfect fit @ 3/8” ! The water hitting my bum feels so soft now! It used to feel so hard and was actually painful at higher pressures. Now, max pressure gives the same pressure feel but the water just feels softer against the skin. This filter is AWESOME! Read more

IT SMELLS terribly like dead fish...after letting my Luxe bidet assessory run for about 30 minutes it still SMELLED awful..I had to use towels to soak up the water from the bidet they smelled so bad I threw them away along with my rug...I thought he would this filter be good for me...after reading about the sulfide in the filter I assumed that is what the smell was....anyway I purposely flushed and used the bidet alot...the next morning the smell was not as bad After 4 days its better...and the toilet bowl has not built up any stains. Filter was very effective. I didn't use it for a bidet, used it for the toilet tank. Some back history - we had a water softener "let loose" it catalyst beads into our water pipes, these things are smaller than grains of sand. 7 years later the dang things are still hiding in the lower pipes and the down stairs toilet flapper get messed up by them and then the flapper leaks. Installed this filter in line to the tank supply and it worked great for 24 hours. Then it got so plugged with those tiny beads that water would only trickle through it. It did its job! Got a 50 micron sediment strainer instead and will see how that works. For the LUXE filer, overall installation was easy and had no leaks, build quality was very good. Read more

Here's why you need this: If you have metal pipes of any type in your city or your house you will eventually have a small amount of corrosion or calcium buildup from those pipes. This filter keeps that particulate from finding it's way into the openings in the bidet nozzle and clogging them. Have you ever unscrewed the screen in your faucet outlet to find little chunks of stuff that clogged it? This filter will prevent that from happening to your bidet. I don't mind changing or cleaning the screens in my faucets every-so-often, but I DON'T need to be unscrewing my bidet to fool around with clearing out it's nozzles because debris from the water made it's way into it... just sayin' You need this.
