My wife bought a high(ish)-end bidet from Kohler here on Amazon. I thought I'd surprise her and install it while she was out one afternoon. I mean, what could go wrong? The instructions had that smiling happy guy doing the job, so I figured it would be a piece of cake. 15-20 minutes, no longer. Well, when I got around to hooking up the water, I ran into problems. The T-adapter that came with the Kohler leaked (actually sprayed) - not from the hose connections but from the body of the adapter. I uninstalled and reinstalled (I'm a software guy), busting up my knuckles in a tight spot but it only seemed to make it worse. I ran to 2 local hardware stores but they didn't seem to have the right adapter. Found this little $8 gem here on Amazon and figured that I'd take a shot before returning the bidet and risking the wrath of the wife. Well, guess what - this was the PERFECT fit, only needed to be hand tightened (no tools necessary) and saved the bi-day! Read more
