I’m pretty new to the whole coffee grinding and brewing scene, so I don’t have a lot of high-end grinders to compare this to, but I’ve been really happy with the NewlukPro M6 Manual Coffee Grinder so far. It feels solid and well-built right out of the box — the handle turns smoothly, and there’s no wobble or roughness while grinding. The burr design and double bearings really do make a difference in how even the grind comes out. I’ve mostly used it for pour-over and AeroPress, and the grounds are consistent enough that I can tell a slight but noticeable improvement in the taste of the coffee — a bit cleaner and more balanced compared to pre-ground beans. It doesn’t take too long to grind a single serving either, and the motion feels smooth enough that it’s not tiring, even in the morning....I also found that you can just attach a drill to the shaft and really crank it up, although I am sure its not advised for longevity. Pros: Smooth, consistent grinding action Sturdy build with nice fit and finish Compact and easy to hold Noticeable flavor improvement over pre-ground coffee Cons: Manual grinding takes a little patience (not really a flaw, just part of the process) I almost missed the markings the first time i used it, they are etched on the size adjuster but a little hard to see. Overall, for someone new to grinding their own coffee, this feels like a great entry-level grinder that performs well and makes the whole process enjoyable. Read more

Don’t waste money on overpriced electric grinders because my espresso game is top tier and I actually like this fun little manual coffee bean grinder. I have fun. It’s EASY to take apart and clean. It’s not loud or hard to use. It’s a quick process it’s not something that will take long. The price is amazing for amazing quality. And the grind sizes are absolutely superb especially the not 8-9 spot that’s so fine and perfect for my machine. The notch says 9 but it’s technically 8 clicks from the starting point and it’s my perfect setting. At first this grinder was just supposed to be a cheap starter until I could afford electric but after hearing how loud some electric ones are and knowing that they are harder to clean and just all around not really worth it when the hand grinder here is so superior and just perfect.. I’m the type where if it’s not broke I won’t fix it and even if this one day does stop working.. I’d just get this again. I will never purchase overpriced electric nonsense. I like this little experience far too much! I just wish I could get it in a fun rainbow steel color or even pink or something like that. Would absolutely love if this brand came out with any newer hand grinders and wanted me to test them because I absolutely frickin would! Would give them all the reviews! Read more

Awesome grind for a great priced. I am getting into grinding my own coffee and this was a perfect intro. Feels premium and good build quality. I read through reviews for the best settings and would recommend doing the same to get the best grind quality. Dismantles and assemblies easily and works great! Read more

I received this manual burr grinder a few days ago to use at my vacation house. First time using a manual grinder. It works very well, the burr produces excellent fine espresso grind just like I prefer. In fact I think the flavour comes out a little better than my $250 chinese electric burr grinder. But because I like to make coffees 2 at a time or even 4 at a time the manual cranking is too much work. I picked up a cheap thirty dollar cordless drill and it neatly grabs the spindle of the grinder. Running the drill on slow it makes doing coffee very easy now. Just watch out for the hopper unscrewing itself while grinding - keep it fairly tightly screwed on. Read more

This grinder does exactly what you want it to do and does it very, very well. Highly recommended. We bought this to add to our coffee snob travel kit and to have for power outages (here in Florida) so we don't have to degrade our coffee preparation experience under abnormal circumstances. This is compact, quiet, and easy to use. Instructions for using this are hardly necessary as it is very intuitive. But . . . . . . The one thing you need instructions for is set your preferred grind level and here the instructions are a massive fail. Plus, there are markings inside the grinder for setting coarser or finer grind. The instructions don't match the markings and neither are clear to use. Here's how to set the grind: Unscrew the catch cup to expose the underside of the grinding mechanism. Install the handle and grip the handle and grinder body with one hand so the handle keeps the shaft fixed in place. Turn the grinder so you can see the underside and look for the 3-cornered trefoil mechanism on top of a round plate with the threaded shaft coming through the center. Spin the trefoil mechanism to set the grind. Turning clockwise exposes more of the shaft and puts the plate closer to the burr wheel and results in a finer grind. Backing the trefoil back so less of the threaded shaft is exposed results in a coarser grind. Unless you regularly switch from French press to espresso grind this will be a one-time setting for you. (If you do need to change grinds regularly you may want to invest in a second unit.) Read more

Nice little grinder. Grinds evenly and efficiently. Smooth and easy grinding. Definitely quieter than my electric grinder. Size is perfect. Only downside is that it’s a tad bit heavier than I’d like and figuring out how to adjust for specific ground size is a little tricky. After sorting that it works great. Will be fine for traveling or camping but I may not want to bring it for backpacking. Read more
