My camera is very easy to clip onto the holder of this handy little tripod and fits well. I like that each leg can be adjusted independently of the other legs, in case I need to set it up on an unstable surface, or if I want to tilt the stand and my phone at some sort of angle. The only gripe I have is that I wish it came with some method of pressing the button to take a photo from a distance, whether it had some sort of corded "clicker" or it used an app. I have lousy timing when using the timer, and can never get the shot I want, so I guess that I will be using this little tripod more for taking videos or to hold my phone camera steady when I don't also want to be in the photo. This tripod basically does what it promises, but it’s a little too lightweight for my comfort. The magnet itself works well—you just need to make sure your phone case doesn’t interfere with the MagSafe connection. (They include a magnetic sticker for non-MagSafe phones, which is helpful.) However, if your case has a kickstand or anything raised, it won’t connect properly. It comes with a cold shoe bracket, but the design is flawed—the placement is too low, so most lights or accessories won’t clear the phone unless they’re mounted higher. The tripod also struggles to hold the phone in landscape mode and feels best suited for portrait use only. The plastic legs and locking levers seem flimsy, and I’m doubtful about their long-term durability. Overall, it functions as advertised, but the design and build quality could definitely be improved.
