I have bought at least 3 different tripods to do LIVES with and they have all been a floppy mess, too short or break. This one is lightweight and made very well. It has multiple height adjustments and can get very tall. It comes with attachments so that it be used with a phone or camera. I really appreciate how smooth it is when positioning it so that it's not all shaky when I am LIVE streaming and adjusts easily with its larger knobs and crank. Quite pleased. Lightweight and well built. Fast and easy to set up, take down and balance. I hang weights on them from the handy hook underneath to hold them stable when it’s windy. They work perfect for the videos I shoot. They also reduce to a conventional small size when the legs are pushed all the way in making it easy to attach to my camera bag. Read more

While this was obviously designed for either very light video cameras or a phone ( comes with a phone holder), I was able to utilize it with an 8 pound Sony NX video camera while assuring I never let go the control arm. Since I was front row center in a venue balcony with 12 rows of patrons behind me, a full size professional tripod would have blocked the view of patrons. By using this much smaller and lighter tripod I was able to not be blocking the view of even the people behind me. This isn’t something you would like to leave a heavy camera on unhanded, it did suffice in a tight limited space. I will admit I also tied a 10 lb weight bag to the tripod to keep it from tipping with the heavier mounted camera but this tripod held up well and functioned for the need quite well. Given its construction for a lighter weight camera I found this an exceptional buy given its multisectional legs, pan tilt locks and yes even a balance bubble. For those using the newer iPhones or other this tripod would be the professional choice for that style production. Read more

I had some concerns when first setting up the tripod. The legs had a lot of play in them once extended. Once I closed the top clamp, however, the legs were solid. Assembly was easy, took just a few minutes to complete. I like that the tripod included two quick release adapters. I don’t expect to need two, but still a nice thing to have. I do find the lock for pan and tilt to be a bit odd, and I find that it is difficult to keep the head from unscrewing when you forget to release the pan lock before attempting to pan - it takes no motre force to start to unscrew the head than it does,to pan. For the price, it is a decent tripod. If you expect high end features and operation from it, you will be disappointed. It would be like expecting prime rib for hot dog prices. Would I purchase it again? Yes. Would I suggest it to others looking for a budget tripod that is usable? Again, yes. Would I recommend it to someone looking for a high end experience? No. Read more

Out of all the tripods I’ve tried, this tripod is definitely my favorite! It’s incredibly stable, very easy to use, and the height adjustment works smoothly. I was looking at multiple tripods to use with my GoPro when recording my son's sporting events (football) and landed on this one. I am glad I did. It has great adjustments all the way around. It feels super sturdy while still being lightweight. It comes with everything I needed out of the box to do what I needed it to do. It also came with a carry bag that is super helpful. I am not 100% sure how it works with a DSLR, but it is perfect for my GoPro! I am glad I chose this one when I was looking around. Oh, and the price wasn't bad for what you get! *At a recent game, some kids were playing around on the bleachers I had it set up on to record, and they knocked it over. Wow! This is a PRO Camera, Phone, or Any Device Tripod! I purchased this. It was not given to me but deserves this review. This Tripod is SOLID, stable and just looks and feels professional! It comes with TWO quick release 1/4” (standard) screw base mounts so you can have (2) devices ready to mount at any given time. They also include a nice large black canvas carry bag with a shoulder strap big enough to hold the Tripod and several small accessories. The phone mount they include is the cherry on top of the ice cream! I love the way the Phone Mount attachment is spring loaded so all you have to do is spread it and clamp it on your phone! This Tripod also includes a weight hook at the bottom of the center post that guarantees sure stability on any terrain. This is MUCH better than I expected. Truly a VALUE for the price! I “generally” don’t write reviews on products I purchase, but just had to on this one! Comes in a nice retail box with good instructions. Took me about 5 minutes to assemble without reading the manual. What a great gift this would make for any occasion! Shipping was super fast as usual.
