When I opened the package, these looked more like standard panties instead of the support I expected. I ordered the XL because I generally size up to avoid the tight compression. But when I put them on, the top of them went up to my bra, so gave me good coverage. They were comfortable, and after wearing for the better part of a day, they did not roll down at all. I think the L would have been the best fit for me in retrospect. At 5' 1" and 160 lbs, they would have done the job. However, I am not a fan of the thong, and would purchase again, but with full coverage in back. Read more

I already own another style of Maidenform shapewear thongs which I love so when I saw these I had to try them. Especially since this type of shapewear is an absolute must when I wear my high waist stretch pants bc they’re very clingy. The ones I already owned are a different material & high waisted whereas this is meant to hit right below the bust line as you can see on the listing model. I ordered blush in sz xl but I should’ve gotten sz xxl bc I’m 5’9” w/ a very long torso (bodysuits & one pc swimsuits are always an issue for me), so it was too short & a bit too tight on me. I’ve included a picture w/ my high-waisted pants. It is completely seamless, made of a thick yet super stretchy high quality pantyhose-like fabric that smoothed everything beautifully & was very comfy, but was a bit too tight & it hit at a weird spot right below my rib cage but above the waist of my high-waisted pants so it did not look right. I also prefer these type of compression garments not to be so tight. Just enough to smooth the bumps & hold everything in but still be comfy bc I’m the type that would rather look fat or just not wear an outfit before wearing uncomfortable shapewear. For reference, I’m very curvy & I fluctuate between sizes L and XL in Express clothing and between sizes M and L in Enza Costa rib tank dresses (bc they stretch a lot). So, I recommend these for the great quality & function, but I suggest you size up if you have a long torso or prefer your shapewear not so tight. Read more
