I have done a lot of research on Sim Racing cockpits. On the Black Friday, I was set on buying the Next Level Racing F-GT Elite Aluminum Simulator Cockpit. I did one more search for a sim racing cockpit, and Marada Aluminum Sim Cockpit showed up. Its price was the half the Next Level Racing F-GT cockpit. The Marada sim racing cockpit uses the 80/40 aluminum frame and the Next Level Racing sim cockpit uses 80/20 aluminum frame. And the cockpit design between them are similar. Moreover, the Marada cockpit comes with a racing seat. With the Next Level Racing, I would have to buy one. Meaning, with Marada, I would save more money along with their Black Friday discount. Since Amazon has a great return policy, I pulled the trigger and bought the Marada Sim Racing cockpit along with their monitor stand. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE The Marada's customer service was excellent. I bought their monitor stand, but they contacted me that it was for the wrong frame. They corrected my mistake and replaced my monitor stand with the correct one. The boxes arrived quickly. During the shipping, they contacted me on the tracking info. THE ASSEMBLY I took my time. The assembly took about 8 hrs. There were many screws, nuts, and frames. However, their assembly instruction was clear and easy to follow because it was written in English. THE QUALITY Once assembled, it looked AMAZING! I had my doubt because the Marada Racing sim cockpit is an unknown brand. I'm glad that I took my chance on them. The cockpit wasn't flexing at all. Their racing seat is comfortable. I waited for my direct drive wheelbase which would be the final cockpit test. THE DIRECT DRIVE 18nm On the Black Friday, I ordered Asetek's Forte Direct Drive, La Prima Sim Racing Pedals, La Prima Clutch System, and Front mount for the direct drive. I set my Forte Direct Drive to its max 18nm and jumped onto a track. Even at this point, I still had some doubts that the Marada's Aluminum cockpit would give under the 18nm force. Nothing happened. The Marada's Racing cockpit was rock solid. I had a HUGE grin on my face. I'm so glad that I took the chance with Marada. With them, I saved a lot of money and got the highest quality racing sim cockpit. Most importantly, many years of fun time! Thank you Marada Read more

Id recommend getting a better set of Allen keys 4,5,6mm that can use on a small electric screw driver. I wouldn't recommend tightening everything super tight untill you get the entire thing together. Also dont use a impact driver. It worked completely well with my moza r5 with a trucking base. Did have to drill my own holes. With out the trucking adjustable base it shouldn't need holes drilled. Does take a few hours to complete. My only complaint is the shifter base is a bit wobbly not like drastically just enough to realize it wiggles. But that can be easily fixed with an upgraded shifter assembly. The chair is not that great it works and does it job if you play alot of trucking games id recommend a head rest. Also it does feel really low to the ground needs some lifting capabilities. Its also very staticky with the felt style seat. You will get zapped on occasion also the chair clings to animal hair But other than that everything is great and couldn't be happier I love the ability to add things with ease and is so much sturdier that the old stand i had. Id definitely recommend this for its price cant be beat. With some simple mods its a perfect platform to build on and have lots of fun with. Read more

I wish there was a 4.5 star option. It's more than 4 but a little short of 5. First, as other reviewers have noted, it's a pain to assemble. There are probably 100 bolts and 20 corner brackets in the kit, but that's a good thing. The directions are slightly confusing. I'm good at putting stuff together, it took me 4 or 5 hours with beer (it's at least a 6-pack job) and back breaks (I'm an old guy). It's much faster to assemble if you have a metric Allen head socket set, don't use the crappy knuckle-busting included L-wrenches. It comes well packaged in 3 different boxes, so shipping tracking is a little weird. The aluminum extrusions are of great quality and wrapped in protective film, which takes time to remove. The include metric tape measure makes it much easier to figure out what length tube go where. Once assembled properly, this rig is as solid as a shick brithouse. The only exception is that there is just a little side-to-side wobble in the shifter/handbrake mount with a long shifter, but not enough to make any noticeable impact. The seat is adjustable and very comfortable, even for a 6'2" 280-pound old dude like me, for hours at a time. I chose this seat instead of the faux leather to avoid the "swamp @$$" I get with my office chair, which is a nice relief. The Moza wheel base, pedals, and accessories bolt right on with no problem; you just gotta find the right holes. They make this rig to fit a variety of other racing sim manufacturers' products. The only real knock I can give it (other than assembly) is that if you are looking for easily changing the setup for different cars and driving styles (such as more recumbent for formula racing and more upright for stock cars) it isn't easily adjustable. You have to untighten a lot of bolts and slide things around. This is more of a "set it and forget it" type of rig. Find a good middle-of-the-road comfy spot, lock it down, and deal with it. I bought it for $425 on a Black Friday deal. Even at full price, its' a great deal for a good aluminum profile rig. Looking forward to many happy hours with it. Read more
