Weakness at pedal joints

The joint where i circled in red is beginning to crack due to the pressure when braking. I bought the kit 3 weeks ago and have been using it off and on. This joint area should be strengthened considering major pressure is applied here. I used one of the seat brackets I had left over from the kit and cut into 4 metal rectangular plates and welded them to the tube. Welds look crappy bit got the job done. I included additional pictures of the welds. I welded top and bottom of the black tube to ensure max. strength. Read more

got as gift only have it for about 3 months ... sturdy base for racing wheel base, how ever not really adjustable for tall people[ wheel sits too forward] and wheel height adjustaments not user friendly had use a level to ensure its horizontal...connection for brake/ wheel base to chair not very strong slightly lifts when applying brake pressure also show signs of wear ... over all not bad just should be more adjustable and sturdy for price point Read more
