Great glasses but packaged in a cardboard shipping box that was filthy dirty. No outer package, Well packaged inside but not what one would expect from a Martha Stewart product. This should be considered when gifting these wine glasses. Read more

I bought these glasses after looking at quite a few others advertised for sale on line. Specifically, what I wanted was a tulip-shaped glass that was large enough to work for either a red or white wine, which this is and does. It is well balanced between delicately proportioned and sturdy, tall but stable. Inexpensive enough to use every day, elegant enough for special occasions. What a great concept, well realized. I like these wine glasses because they are large and hold up to 14 ounces yet don’t feel clunky, heavy, or oversized. The width across the top is 2.5 inches. They are just under 9 inches top to bottom. They have a long fluted stem and the glass slowly tapers up. I was a little surprised how thin the glass width was. I’m so used to thicker glasses that it first I took this to feel or seem cheap. But I was totally wrong about that because the thinness of the glass actually added to the positive sipping experience. It was a bit unexpected. I’m not a wine expert by any means so I’m not sure if the type of glass, width, weight, thickness, etc. changes the experience but I would imagine it would because of the experience I had. They are machine washable, but I would just hand wash them. They arrived, packaged very well in glass-shaped foam. They were quite dusty, but once I washed them, they were crystal clear. The base of the stem is thicker and provides stability to the glass. I think these would make a great gift for a wedding or a housewarming. I do think they’re a little bit on the pricey side, considering they are just glass, but not excessively so. there’s nothing fancy about them. They are nice, clear, thin, lightweight, large capacity wine glasses. Read more
