Giving it just 4 stars since I have only used it twice. I used it on a mattress and a couch. Does a good job vacuuming up dust and dander. I was skeptical about needing a vacuum only for a mattress However, I was pleasantly surprised. I normally just cleaned my mattress with an attachment on my regular vacuum. This little vacuum pulled quite a lot out of my mattress. very powerful. It had good heat so I believe the claim that it kills dust mites.
