I purchased this mattress vacuum to try because I have a child with bad allergies; he was clinically tested and allergic to dust and dust mites. The suction is incredibly strong, pulling up all the dust, pet hair, and allergens I didn't even know were there. The cleaner itself has a CE stamp for electrical safety, not a UL and some others that are accepted in the US. The CE certification is used in the European Union. The electric cord has a ETL stamp on it Not sure about electrical safety.which is ok in the US. There is no country of origin on the box or the cleaner. I asked “Rufus” and no information available.
