I am a lifelong avid golfer and I play a lot of golf in bright sun. Based on an ad in a golf magazine, I bought these Maui Jim Banyans with the HT412 lens. They are terrific! They provide great brightness and glare reduction but have very sharp optical quality without distortion. Unlike some sunglasses, the details in green coloration which can affect reading putts are still visible. The glasses appear to be durable (many I have tried are not), but they are lightweight and stylish. I think they are well worth the price. Read more

I purchased these sunglasses on Amazon, with no issues in shipping or packaging. They came on time and looked exactly like the picture. This is the third pair of Maui Jim sunglasses I've owned. They are a bit expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. They are polarized and have a greenish hue on the lens, so you can see much cleared when the sun is out as well as when you are driving. The fit is very nice and they are not bulky or to big for a person with a medium sized face. Overall, these are great glasses and I would recommend them to anyone interested in a fashionable pair of sunglasses. Read more

Great sunglasses. I ordered these to replace the ones I had for years and recently lost. From the face to the case otherwise you’ll scratch the lenses. Read more

Difficult to fully review this yet. Quality of the frame is not like my other pair of Maui (peahi), this frame sounds likes it's going to break every time I pick them up (it literally creaks and groans) . Lens is great in low light and the frame is extremely comfortable and light. The biggest issue with the Banyans is the design, two screws placed directly in the line of vision to hold the bridge together impair (annoy) my view. For as expensive as these are - I don't think I'll be keeping these. Other reviews have cited knockoff frame innuendo due to budget pricing - which is what made me order this. I have no facts to base a knockoff claim, but ultimately these frames don't seem worth the $$. Read more

Second pair of Maui's I also have Oakleys, and Raybans but would say Maui's are the premium product., here's why: Lenses - the 9 layers of lens surface create a visual that doesn't strain the eyes, and always makes for a perfect amount of shading from the sun. Please not Maui's lenses are different some let in more light than others. Frames - these frames including nose pads and ear/ head holders are comfortable and light. Regularly they feel like they are not even on your face. And because there is rubber contact surfaces the glasses don't move. Great product and seller! Read more

I have owned Maui Jims before, it's been a long time. I saw these and am so glad that I bought a pair, I had a mishap with my first pair, got run over by a car, my fault, slipped out of my shirt collar, crushed beyond repair. I ordered the second pair this year asap and have never been happier with a pair of sunglasses. The quality and performance that these glasses provide make me wonder why I waited so long to come back to the Maui Jim's. I looked around and found Amazon to have the best price. Great glasses and a Maui Jim fan for life, can't wait to use them out on the golf course as soon as I can. Read more

I’ve had Maui Jim’s since the 90’s and have always been my favorite sunglasses. Just tried the HT lens in the Banyans for the first time and they are great for golf! My usual ones are the Banyans with the grey which are great for bright sunny days. Read more
