This is a review of the Maui Jim Laulima Polarized Rectangular Sunglasses in matte black/neutral grey. I have heard good things about Maui Jim sunglasses so I was eager to get these and try them out. I am happy to say that these are really terrific sunglasses. These glasses come well-packaged and secured. They come with a cool case that keeps them safe and clean. These glasses truly live up to their good reputation. They are so lightweight and incredibly comfortable. Best of all is that I can see so clearly out of the lens; I have very sensitive eyes and these lens are truly glare-free which is terrific. I cannot praise these enough; they are so stylish and look and feel luxe. I was a little hesitant to get these because they are described as extra-large and I am petite with a small(ish) face - large or wide sunglasses often look overwhelming on me. But these don’t! I was surprised how flattering they are and so impressed with Maui Jim that I ordered some of their other styles. Recommended. Read more

Honestly these glasses were really amazing and I would’ve liked them maybe with a glass lens or better coating/color that does scratch so easily. You get really great clarity and color through these lenses but it you so much as brush them against a button on your shirt you start getting marks. Babying these glasses is a must with the rimless frames. The frames actually feel really durable despite how lightweight they are. Fit is nice, the glasses are a little tight but the flexibility of the frames let’s them not hurt my head after all day use. I wish Maui Jim still gave a hard shell case for their glasses, I am paying a very premium price. It’s just disappointing to see my glasses scratched up so much in just a month when other reviewers claim they were more durable. Read more
