Truly, the best polarized sunglasses on the planet. Would buy 100 times over. You can’t go wrong with Maui Jim’s. Great sunglasses. They are the only ones I’ve purchased over the last 20 years and will definitely stand behind that. UPDATE: Another pair of Maui Jim’s. I’ve never lost a pair, until my most recent pair requiring me to replace them. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve been buying the frames with readers available. They actually area/window of bifocal is relatively small and, although some have rightfully complained about it, I’m glad the option is available. It’s usually sufficient to allow me to respond to an email or text and not have to switch glasses. Really at this point, they should just send me a free pair every year. Read more

The Maui Jim reading glasses (bifocal) are outstanding, as has been my experience with them for many years with various sunglasses. Great for patio reading, outdoor restaurants, driving and seeing the smaller details of the dashboard more clearly, walking and needing to see your phone…..and more uses I’m sure! Really disappointed! These are advertised as reading glasses and not Bifocal. Just purchased and unable to return as I am currently on a vessel. Otherwise, if they had been as advertised, READING, which is the complete lenses I would have been over the moon, it is a great! pair of sunglasses. Can't manage life without them. Have worn these for about 10 years. Can read my map or phone on a sunny ski lift, read a book by the pool but also look across at a distance without the nausea of a fill sunglass lens reader. Can read directions on my phone in the car. The list goes on. Can't give 5 star because about every 2 years the lens breaks at the temple. Even with great warranty service still costs $$. Worth that hassle though! Read more

I received the Maui Jim Readers about a week ago and I am extremely pleased with the sunglasses. They fit well, very comfortable and the tint is dark enough for effective sun blocking but light enough to even use the reader portion of the glasses indoors. They are quite expensive but so far seem well worth the purchase price. I have had prescription sunglasses in the past that did not work nearly as well and cost more. Read more

Once you wear Maui Jim, you will never find another pair of sunglasses that you will like as well. I chose ones with readers which you forget about until you have to read something and are grateful they are there. I love Maui Jim because you can look at a pool of water and simply see the color of the water. If you put on the sunglasses, all of a sudden you can see fish, rocks and other amazing details. This is my second pair of Maui Jim Readers. I have them in both brown and black and they are the best there is on on market today. The bifocal is not apparent to someone looking at you, yet they are lightweight, stylish, and do the trick when you have to read something in the sun or shade.
