I have never owned a pair of a Maui Jim's but I am familiar with the quality and reputation. Typically, they haven't been my style but I decided I would try a pair out anyway, since I like to swap out my sunglasses. I don't plan to use these as my everyday sunglasses, but rather as a pair for some sports activities like golf and pickleball and for the beach. These definitely have the right style and look for those scenarios. I like the quality. They are well made and the lenses are clearly high end and replicate color beautifully. These are not the darkest sunglasses, so they don't offer superior sun coverage but are great for most situations. The best part is the incredible comfort. I really like the rubber detailing on the bridge, sides of the lenses and on the inside of the arms above your ears. They are an absolute pleasure to wear. Again, everything looks sharp and vivid and these don't drastically change color as much as some others do. Nice subtle reflection in the lenses, at least on the black color I got. The other color options have a bit more sporty reflection. I didn't love the fact that they come in a flimsy cardboard box, so the presentation isn't that great. These come with a tri-fold case that can be folded up to store in a bag or pocket when you are wearing the glasses. I don't know if they have always used these cases, but I have another pair of Kering Group (new owner of Maui Jim) sunglasses and they also have a tri-fold case. The benefit is the portability and ease of slipping it into your pocket. The downside is that these are not the most sturdy cases. The included lens cloth is nice. Overall, great sunglasses especially for when I'm out playing golf or at the beach. I'm very happy with them. Maui Jim is holding its own on being a high end brand that's not yet owned by Luxottica -- and I think it shows. Quality is good all around, well built, folding feels nice, lenses are premium, everything is really nicely built. The case is a bit of a let down, wish it was zippered or a bit nicer, but the trifold box thing is decent. The lenses are my favorite part, the polarizing works but also I don;'t end up seeing a lot of artifacts from other things (like in a car the screens that are polarized differently). The width of these is great on my wider face -- the style is a bit more bland, but I still appreciate it -- more of a workhorse sunglass that doesn't draw a lot of attention to itself but works great. For the price point, I was initially a little bit underwhelmed with the packaging and included case for these. However, the glasses themselves are really nice! They have a little bit of heft to them and don't feel cheap at all. They have a nice classic style and the polarized lenses are top notch at filtering light and reducing glare. They include a cleaning cloth as well that fits nicely in the case. Again, the case isn't my favorite, but it's nice that it folds flat when not in use, and does a good job of protecting lenses when not in use. These also have holes in the ends of the pieces in case you wanted to attach a strap to help prevent losing them. They're definitely on the pricey side, but priced in line with similar quality products, and a worthy investment if you spend a lot of time outdoors! Read more

TLDR: Some of the best sunglasses I have ever owned! Seriously I am beyond impressed with how amazing these are. They cover my eyes fully from any sun damage, have literally no glare, and are just dark enough to allow for less eye strain but still light enough to see well. I am in love with these sunglasses, as they are just a really decently made product. This is my second pair of Maui Jim sunglasses, and to me, they are well worth the price. After trying several pair of similarly styled, no-name brands on Amazon, these feel better when I wearing them and the optical quality improvement is notable.
