I am writing this review because I simply do not understand the reviews here that claim these boxes are "hard to assemble" and have "gaps". Clearly these folks are doing something very wrong. These boxes are sturdy, and well build. It literally takes about 10 seconds to assemble each one, if that. They are made the same way comic boxes have been made for 40+ years. If you know what normal comic boxes look like and how they fold together, these are the same, and best of all, they are BLACK. These boxes fit normal width comics, as well as the slightly wider silver age stuff. But they are NOT magazine sized (width) boxes. These boxes are for standard sized comic books and imho, they are perfect and better than the long boxes (easy to manage). A+ product. Read more

First, pay attention to how to assemble these. Be careful to pre-fold the lines you are going to use in the assembly. If you check, there are videos online as to how to do this properly. I did see the complaints other folks had, so I made sure to get advice on assembly. I do woodworking, and know that you need to pay attention to how parts are assembled. So, after being pre-warned, I made sure to get the best way to use the material. Properly done, these are just fine: but PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLDING, ESPECIALLY THAT THERE ARE PLACES THAT YOU HAVE TO FOLD TWO LINES TO GET THE PROPER THICKNESS FOR A FOLD. I think these look great, and they are to hold my Doctor Strange collection. Also, these boxes can hold sewing patterns, especially the larger patterns. And since I also do custom patterns, I appreciate that these boxes can hold a decent size of envelopes. Overall, I am very pleased. Read more

I love these boxes have bought multiple times will buy multiple times hold more comics than the standard white ones and look so much more sleek and amazing in our comic room super easy to assemble and function perfectly. Comic book collecting is one of my favorite hobbies. This pack of 5 boxes are a way of replacing my old long boxes and making a neater more manageable set up for my collection. Hard to keep these in stock! Poor packing (the usual- (read "none")) led to these getting wanged all over. Could return and reorder 'cause, of course, were OOS again. Still, good quality and good looking. Only thing to make them better would be to have the insides black too. Read more

I like the slight additional width these boxes have over my previous comic boxes. They are wide enough to accommodate my golden age books in mylar bags. Read more
