It fits for my whirlpool model, just not easy to install as the everyday drop brand, because the design is little different. My first try to put it in and it pops out and water leak can’t close door. Second try and it fits and can close refrigerator door. Been 2 days, I checked under the refrigerator no leak. So the better way to install it better shut the water valve off and make sure it fit in then turn it on. I been use the everyday drop brand for 7 yrs, the price keeps goes up too much, I use a tool to text water purified they both are the same. **Updated a few weeks later to say that our fridge began leaking some whitish water that dried dusty from underneath and we discovered it was from the filter. It doesn’t fit correctly so don’t buy these for your Whirlpool.** I missed the part of the listing that said the product packaging may vary, so that’s on me. But unfortunately our filters didn’t come with the loop handle. They barely have a spot to get a good grip on them for removing from the fridge. Our fridge filter compartment door is no longer popping the filter out, so the lack of handle will be an issue when we need to remove it later. Otherwise the product seems to work fine. Had a little trouble installing for some reason and water went everywhere but it didn’t leak any further after that initial installation. Read more
These filters appear to be just as good as the OEM, perhaps third party filters may not last as long you're still getting 3 for the price of 1. I have not experienced any leakage, loud noises, etc. No compatibility issues with my Maytag. Installation was easy enough and fit my unit well. The water that comes out is clear as expected and has not caused any fowl flavor or sediments. If you have money burning in your pocket go get OEM, but if you're poor like about 98% of the population then spread that cheddar around by saving big on these bad boys 😁 Read more
