Purchased this water filter to replace a faucet style filter. Updated our kitchen faucet and the PUR filter no longer fits. Since I'm filtering municipal water an RO system was unnecessary. This filter was easy to install. It came with everything needed. I especially appreciated the mounting screw template, so you knew exactly where to drill. I didn't use the enclosed faucet (nothing wrong with it just the wrong finish) and used one which matched the faucet. Three main things I love about this system: 1.Effetive filtration for removal of chlorine and other contaminants. 2. Taste of the water is very good. 3. Sooooo easy to change the filter. It's exactly what I wanted and at a great price. Well designed, well thought out, good instructions. If you don't need RO this is a great alternative. Read more

Just want to say the product is great, attractive and easily installed in no time. Instructions for the installation were clear and concise making the job a breeze. Packaging for shipping the unit was well made and held the items snug and safe for transit. This kit was east to install and works/tests great. Only issue was the faucet bsse needed a step space to keep it cemtered in the 1.25" hole in the sink. I 3D printed my own. I wanted to buy this for a second home, but the full kit has been discontinued, so I had to buy the faucet separately. The filter and fittings were fine but the faucet had a traditional sink flanged fitting so I had to made adapters. Be careful to buy compatible parts. Read more

I really wish I bought this a year ago when I first moved. The tap water where I live tastes horrible. Like chlorine and mildew. I was able to instal this with one crescent wrench, and thatโs it. This is a great buy since we have very hard water that we donโt use to cook. The install was a little mild but if you have changed a faucet itโs not that big of a deal. Test each connection after you add the splitter onto your cold water inlet. If thereโs any leaks you can take it off and add or remove Teflon tape to seal the connection. When you first start the water you have to let it run for 10mins but it spits out water if you have it on full blast so have a towel close. Our water is very hard and from a well so in about a year I need to replace the filter. The faucet can swing 360 degrees so if you have a smaller sink you can move it out the way when not in use. I added a guide on my connection with what has worked for me in case your connection is the same and they include a good amount of Teflon tape in the product. Read more
