I have spent no telling how much money trying to find a comfortable pillow. I am a side sleeper and pillows were either to soft, or too hard. I have tried every type pillow, in every price range, and I always ended up putting them away in the linen closet because my neck and head would hurt the next morning after trying to sleep in them. The very first night I slept on this pillow, I had the most restful nights sleep I had in a very long time. When I awoke the next morning, no headache or neck pain. There was no odor when I first opened the package and it is literally like a cloud craddling your head in perfect alignment. This pillow is so great, I bought 2 of them in 2016 and another in early 2017. I waited to write my review to see how they held up long term. After 1 year, the first pillow I bought doesn't seem to hold the form as well and the filling kind of slides out around your head. I normally replace my pillows much more often, so I would say a great value for a solid year of great sleep. I bought this pillow because I have carpal tunnel and I need something to "hug" throughout the night to keep my hands from falling asleep and my old body pillow was cheap and lumpy. This pillow is nice and fluffy, especially for the price. I only have two issues, but I'm not even sure I can actually blame the pillow. The first is I move around alot at night and take the pillow with me as I toss. This pillow is a little heavy to move around at night as I roll from one side to the other. The other thing is the weight of the pillow on the blankets traps my body heat in much more and I get really hot in the middle of the night. I've rated this pillow as excellent because it is every thing as described in the description in the pillows to select from in the Amazon site. Before getting this pillow I had daily neck pain due to arthritis in my neck vertebrae. I had started using 2 pillows. The top one was quite firm and uncomfortable but my neck didn't hurt every morning. I shopped at Macy' and bought a medium firm pillow. It too was to hard but fixed my daily neck pain. I decided to get this pillow because it was described as not to firm and soft at the same time. It is very comfortable and supports my neck just right. The savings from not taking pain pills every day will pay for the pillow over and over. as well as not getting snarky with my wife. I recommend this pillow to anyone that is a "pain in the neck. I am giving this pillow 5 stars because: it came packaged well, it has excellent construction, and it is beautifully made! HOWEVER, it is VERY stuffed. If I had a cold and needed to be propped up this pillow would do the trick. It also would be great if you enjoy overstuffed pillows. I unfortunately don’t. So I ended up cutting it open and removing half of the stuffing! I used the stuffing I took out to fluff up TWO throw pillows! TWO! That’s how much stuffing is in this pillow. Anyway, after I removed half the stuffing I stitched it back up it is perfecto! Nice and squishy and still supportive. If you have a sensitive neck and back you might not like it as it comes. BUT! You can do what I did and customize it to your needs! I love my pillow now! Read more

I have what I affectionately term "Princess Pea Head". I can sleep on a rock, sitting up, small spaces, outdoors....it doesn't matter. I can sleep just about anywhere. AS LONG as I have a decent pillow. Otherwise I wake up with migraines and have the worst time getting to sleep---often going two nights without any sleep at all. It can be on the best bed in the world, without a decent pillow it's agony. With a good supportive pillow under my head and neck, I'm golden. I can sleep for 8 hours straight--- wake up refreshed and ready to take on the world. However, finding a good pillow is like the quest for the legendary city of Cibola. These pillows did it for me. I've been on a pillow quest for years. All the other pillows I've bought from Amazon have been crap that flattens out after a week. It made me mad I even paid for garbage like that. These pillows? Still fluffy a month later. Fluff back up with a few shakes and punches. They're comfortable, supportive and they last. I don't have to buy one every week! That being said? I need to stock up so I can enjoy this bliss for years to come. EDIT Well, it's September 2014 and I'm back for more pillows. I LOVE these pillows... My others are still good, I just normally replace my pillows every few months, and you should every 6, but these are still going strong. It's past time to replace them, though. Read more
