In my experience this is THE BEST drug store option. It is very similar to the Benefit They’re Real Mascara. Builds on itself wonderfully making lashes look long and thick. This is a fantastic mascara, especially for the price. I’m 44 and have hooded, aging eyes and had to switch from my go to mascara to tubing or waterproof mascara to avoid raccoon eyes. I have tried so many and find tubing mascara is heavy for my lashes and they always lose their curl. This is the exact kind of wand I like. I have long lashes but as I’ve aged they have thinned and this mascara produces thick, long, but defined lashes (no spider lashes) that don’t fall and stay looking like I just applied hours later. Love this. Highlights: -Buildable -Keeps my lashes curled -Does not flake -Works great with my hooded brow/ no smudge. -Water proof/resistant -Easy to remove My routine: Start with clean lashes (or it will clump). I curl my lashes 10 seconds each, put on eyeliner. Quick coat on top of lashes, root to tip (always root to tip of lashes) then layer. Layers gotta be done quick, do not allow to dry at all. One layer on the daily but 2+ layers if in photos. My short lashes can only handle two quick coats and I do an extra eyelash curl even with my eyeliner on for special events. This mascara locks the curl im place all night. Also, not sure how hygenic this is but when the tube dries out, I put some of my eye drops in the bottle and push in with the wand for an extra use or two. It does dry out eventually but this mascara is worth it to me. Curls my lashes and works great for my hooded brows since it's waterproof. Finally, no flaking unlike many other products, even very expensive mascaras I have tried. Read more
