Works very well for it's affordable price! Not quite as loud or clear as a littman but it's close for 1/3 of the price. The tubing length will be okay for human use but it is alittle short for veterinary use, especially on large animals. I would buy it again. Read more
Looks great. I was researching reviews to decide which one to get my daughter finishing her CNA and starting nursing school . Kept seeing everyone say this is a good one to start with and good quality. The main thing I got this one for is someone said it was a lot lighter and when you wear it around your neck all day for 10 and 12 hours on shift, etc., do you want a lighter one around your neck. If she wants to go to a more expensive, Litman, she can do that later. Meanwhile, we’ll see if she even likes school and she can try to wear this one out.😅. I had ordered her some charms to put around it to personalize it and help keep it unique from others, however, the tubing is little bit thick for the generic charms I bought for it so I don’t know if they’ll fit or not. I don’t know how much the little plastic clamps on them stretch. But you can definitely get a customized one with their name on it and it would go around any size. I think it will be great for a great price. **they need to remember the ear pieces are slanted he certain direction to fit into your ears and direct the sound directly into your ears. Some people post that they can’t hear out of it, but I think it’s because they put it in backwards in their ears. They are directional. Read more
The MDF Acoustica stethoscope is noticeably lighter and less refined than my Littmann, and the sound quality cannot match a professional grade model. You can hear heart and lung sounds, but the clarity and sensitivity are lower, which makes it less ideal for clinical settings. The tubing and chest piece also feel less durable. For home use, it works well enough. It is comfortable to wear, easy to handle, and perfectly adequate for checking on kids when they are sick.
