This is my go-to tint moisturizer in my daily routine. I absolutely love it. I bought a second bottle right away. A little goes a long way though, but I do have a smaller face and I actually feel comfortable at my age to go out with just this on and no makeup. I am 47 years old. I will be 48 this month. I have been using MD Solar Sciences for a long time, particularly the tinted mineral SPF 30 sunscreen. I noticed this is SPF 50 and decided to try it based on the higher rating and being combined with a moisturizer. This product is quite thick and does not feel moisturizing at all to me. It looks very pasty on my skin. I have normal to slightly oil skin. The color is much yellower than the SPF 30 product and looks awful on my complexion (light beige tones). I am really disappointed to now have an expensive product that I can't use. I will be sticking with the SPF 30 mineral sunscreen which is a total winner ... sheer tint, very comfortable on skin and effective sun protection. Read more
I've recently got in to sunblock a lot and I do realize that I am not getting sunburned with this. It does awesome. You are protected in the sun, protect it even indoors. You're glowing when you're in the sun, this is perfect. The consistency is perfect. Not too oily, not to dry, just a perfect consistency. Also I really like that I'm not getting dry with this it hydrates very good!!!. The scent is not that bad either. Prior to sunscreen I apply a liquid vitamin C (small amount) all over face and then a small amount of face serum If I have it. But Then I apply this sunscreen . Recommended by my 41 year old Daughter. Has a slightly oily sheen with a nice glow when first applied. I allow15-20 minutes to soak in and then use blotting papers to blot off any excessive still remaining. I allow to absorb completely and then apply very small amounts of coverage foundation where my skin damaged skin requires it. A lot of effort but I love this sunscreen. Read more
