I have a collection of other scales but I carry all my weight in front and was having difficulty looking down to see the numbers on the scale or standing still long enough to have the numbers lock in; got this one as a replacement. First time in a long time was actually able to weigh myself and see in real-time the numbers and not do a guesstimate based on the numbers I could see on another scale. Makes keeping track of everything a whole lot easier--display is large and easy to read The option to use a wall plug or batteries is nice; I've been using the wall plug, but just unplug it when not in use. Lightweight and portable. The scale is very accurate and holds up well. I purchased for my son Who is a wrestler and checks his weight often. We take it to tournaments with us and it has held up great. Read more

The scale does not work if it's plugged in. You have to unplug it or use batteries in order for it to work. Sometimes it continues to adjust, so you don't get an exact weight. Read more

I love this scale, put some batteries in it and you have an easy-to-read screen at head height. It has a spiral cord to the base, and in my case, it is easy to move/slide the base with my foot when I need to close the bathroom door. Don't forget to turn it off when you are finished. Give it a couple of seconds to "settle down" for your reading. Read more
