I got this in a two pack, perfect for their home. 3 dogs, a cat and a horse farm. On top of that a husband with allergies. They LOVE it. One up in the bedroom and the other in the main part of the house. My brother in law says it is great! Makes his life a lot easier. Quiet, medical grade purification. Nice build. Stylish, and no dog or cat smell. Air feels fresh. Thinking of getting one for my daughter as her boyfriend is allergic to cats and has to use Benadryl to hang out at her place. So yeah I’ll be buying this again! Read more

Pros: cleans the air, like you can taste the clean moves the air, nothing stale and more air gets cleaned. has an ionizer, makes the air feel fresher Cons: Filter replacements are a premium for some You want to leave it on all the time because it does a job, but filter will go quicker , then see con 1 The reviews stating that it’s noisy, I don’t really put it higher than a box fan or or high powered fan moving air around. It becomes white noise very quickly. We have a 3100 sqft house. We bought the 2 pack for a nice deal. About 150 each total. Two pack is a better value for sure. Put one up stairs and one down stairs in the most open areas. I love to crank them both up to high and let them cycle the air in about 2 hours or so. Whole house. Many guests have, upon walking in, notice how “clean” the air feels. We leave it running on low but tend to let it run before bed time on max. You won’t regret it, if you have thing about loud fans, then maybe it’s not for you. Read more

We live on a FARM. Dust and dirt is everywhere, it's a dusty existence. Dirt and dust is always getting tracked into the house, the carpet picks up everything off the shoes & boots. I have allergies - which had gotten worse and worse. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats, going in and out, all day. The cats are absolutely necessary for rodent control, they do a good job. The dogs are herders, they do the running through the dirt & mud for us. We installed a Central Vacuum, after I noticed I was coughing after vacuuming - that helped. Could still see "floaters" in the sunlight. Sleeping at night was getting more and more difficult, even with the furnace electrostatic filter, vacuuming, we still had visible dust collecting on every surface. Bought 2 of these units, and extra filters. Easily cut down on the visible dust to less than 25% of what it was. Put one in the bedroom, it runs 24/7 on low speed. All that gross crap I'd cough up in the morning - cleared up. The choice of waking up with a dry thoat (mouth breather, so is wife), or hacking well into the night, and everytime you move the covers/quit, start hacking again, getting up and coughing up gross dirty 'stuff' - a no brainer. Since we installed them (Dec 2020) the house is getting cleaner and cleaner, sneezing was a morning thing, not any more! I can't remember the last time I had a sneezing fit... it's been over a month. Finally found relief, after years of sneezing & honking like a Canada goose. One nice thing, we've vacuumed the back of the filter, it's catching LOTS of brown fuzzy stuff, not to mention how clear the air is, when the sun is streaming through. My only wish is that is was 100% silent, but, that's what the timer is for. Gonna leave for awhile, crank it up. You'll come home to a clean, odor-free home. Read more

I have used two of these for 6 months and changed the filter once. My allergies have gotten significantly better. I run it on low instead of sleep mode. Medium when cooking. High when cooking smelly things. Off when spraying for bugs. I cannot recommend these enough if you have allergies. I don’t know much more to say. The noise level is quiet and the sound is not bothersome if you want to take a nap. There is a CADR calculation for the size of your room. Keep in mind the calculations are for max speed. So cut it in half if you want to run at medium speed. CADR= (air changes per hour) x (length) x (width) x height) x 1/60. That is in CFM. 2 ACH for normal conditions. 4 or 5 for heavy allergies. 8-10 for heavy smokers or contamination. It is effective to have in a large room but from one room away, about 25 feet, it gets rid of smelly fried cooking. I use one in a master bedroom / bath. Then another on its own level in an open floor plan. It is nice refreshing air to use for a fan also. Read more

As an allergy suffer I've always use air filters at home and work. Son move out (great thing) but took an air filter with him so I needed to replace one. I had two Winix filters, one large and one smaller. He took the larger one and left me with the smaller P150. After reading reviews I decided on the Medify MA-40. Thank goodness because the other units would have been too big. On the lowest setting it is noticeable. Sleep mode and low are the exact same so not sure why they are there. This unit has three speeds and low is the only one I'm comfortable using while in the room. The others are too loud. In comparison my Winix air cleaners where silent on both settings one and two. Like other users I consider it white noise and doesn't keep me from sleeping. I bought the two pack and one was slightly louder so I took that one to work where its louder and kept the quieter winix. If the wife starts to complain about the noise Ill switch it. I like the ionizer and I run mine 24/7. Will update as I use it more. Read more
