I am trying to find a lightweight foundation for string quilting that I don't have to tear out- arthritis makes that hard. I got a roll of the light weight, and a roll of the medium weight, and compared it to Pellon Sheerweight. On my table, the lightweight is on the left, the medium on the right, and the Pellon angled at the top. So far I am really pleased with the lightweight- I trimmed the extra 3" off the width of the roll with my rotary cutter without unrolling it, and now have batting tape! I will update after I have finished my quilt top. Read more
