I was not quite sure what I wanted in a sprinkler, but I feel like this was the best purchase I made when we reseeded our yard. We have an "L"-shaped yard, so we needed either 2 sprinkler heads or one that could cover the entire area, which would have included the roof. This is extremely easy to install, it has a quick release valve on the base that means you screw in one end to the hose, and then it can rotate as needed without flipping the sprinkler head upside-down. The quality of the item is good, it hasn't broken yet, even though its gone a few rounds with one of the dogs having a good time. It is super easy to use and to move. Since the settings on the "length" and "width" have predefined positions, it means we could quickly switch from one side of the yard to the other without messing with the settings each time to make sure it was "just perfect", we just remembered the settings and switched before turning the hose back on. It does a great job of "sprinkling" ensuring a fairly even distribution of water across the desired area. The media could not be loaded. PROS: This sprinkler mimics rain across my lawn, showering my fruit and palm trees, which you can see in the video that I've attached to this review. You have the ability to spread the width of the sprinkler, as well as control length of coverage, using the orange tabs for adjustment. It covers an impressively large area. You can also control the flow, which make this device versatile. CONS: the coloring tends to fade, especially if you live in a sunny state like I do here in South Florida. While I appreciate the fact that I can rotate the sprinkler in many different directions, the shaft of rotation is a bit flimsy and tilts slightly to the left or right. You will need to anchor it down level to ensure that it sprays the exact area that you are trying to cover. I have had it for over a year and so far it is holding up and performing well, but its long-term durability remains to be seen Overall, it is a great sprinkler for the price. First, it works as expected. It works well and is easy to adjust everything. It has enough adjustments to handle any normal yard. It has a flow adjustment so if you connect multiplies in series you can control flow/pressure to the individual units. The only issue mine has is it cannot handle any side pressure at the collar connecting to hose. If the hose is not very straight there is a pretty good leak. My hose ends are machined, not pressed. The thread is a good fit and smooth. The end that contacts the sealing ring is wide, flat and smooth. Nothing else I connect to the hose needs to be very tight to seal. A little improvement to the robustness of this connection would be nice. As long as this does not get any worse and considering the price I would consider purchasing again. I'm adding an edit because the leak problems is gone. My only guess is something (piece of plastic??) from production was keeping 2 surfaces from sealing and has fallen out. Read more

Because of all of its features, I was first hesitant to buy it, but I soon discovered that it was quite intuitive and that I didn't even need to look at the instructions. With this highly adjustable sprinkler, you can easily change the spray's breadth, direction, power, and distance. It's ideal for covering different areas of my irregularly shaped yard. Even though the construction is plastic, some people might be concerned, yet it's really sturdy. It hasn't faded or deteriorated in the intense summer weather, even though I've left it outside every day. What actually makes this sprinkler unique is its adaptability. The peculiar diagonal shape of my garden features a small hallway, and it's incredible how easily I can adjust the water flow's direction and force with a few clicks. Also, the straightforward connector kit that was included made connecting it to my current hose a snap. I thought that the outer corners appeared to receive slightly less water. But when I tested the coverage by putting cups all over the yard, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the water distribution was actually rather even. For anyone with an irregularly shaped yard or who needs the greatest flexibility in watering different areas, I heartily recommend the Melnor MiniMax Sprinkler. Read more
