I only have had 1 bottle, and only have had that for a few weeks, so I will not tell you 'IT WORKS!!' . I can tell you about what matters today though. When applied to my scalp, I could not detect any smell at all. I did spray a little in a tissue, and it hardly had any smell up close either. It is well packaged, so if you have kids, thei will not be able to open it. The applicator has an easy lock on it. You can slide the applicator over after use to re-lock it to keep it safe from kids. I got this for my son, who is only 24 and his hairline is receding. However when I got this product, I realized in is only for the crown region of the hair... like where the alphalfa is. The directions are very clear to only use it in the crown area, so this won't work for him. So I gave it to my husband who has a little thinning in this area. I will follow up and let you know if he has any hair thickening, but I will mention that there is a list of side effects that I find a little concerning. You do have to use it every day, and it also says you may need to use it for several months before it works.
