I own several Fogfire items...mainly athletic pants. This is my first pair of their shorts. I put it at 4 stars because the waist is right but for running (tennis) I felt they didn't give me the same flexibility that my other tennis short did. For non cardio intensive sports they will be fine but I need to be able to move every direction quickly. They do look good and feel good. Shorts arrived in perfect condition: no snags/frays in the material, no loose threads, etc. Better quality control than generally seen on budget-friendly off brands. These are legit. Great fit for the size (exactly as you would expect from the listed sizing), and they look great when worn. Very comfortable to wear when working out, which for me just means running: they are just stretchy enough to not bind when you are active, and thin enough that the moisture wicking works well. I got these mainly for wearing outside on hikes in the summer. They are fast drying and wicks away sweat fairly well. It has a nice stretch to them which will work well if you like to work out. The thin material is soft and stretches in the right places. The size is a bit bigger than I thought but works just fine. I would say the quality is a bit lower than what it looks like in the images. These are comfortable shorts with convenient pockets and useful drawstring. And the fabric feels nice on the skin. The pockets are secure and the zippers are good. I have the orange color which I like, but there many colors to choose from. These are holding up after a few washes so it's plenty durable. The reason I deducted one star is because at this price, I'd expect the shorts to have a liner. Without that, you'll have to wear your own tights or underwear underneath. Also, because the pockets are not part of a liner, phones and items will bounce around on a run, making it not ideal (but not impossible) to use while running. Read more

These men's athletic running shorts have a 7-inch inseam, and for me at 5'10" with an athletic build, I prefer something closer to a 5 or 6-inch inseam. I like my running shorts to ride a little higher on the knee. You can see in the photo about where they fall based on how I wear my shorts. The quality of the shorts is excellent. The material feels fantastic and the color is slightly lighter in person than what I saw in the pictures, but still looks good. There are two rear pockets with zippers along with front pockets that do not have zippers, and all of them are very handy. The waistband is thick and sturdy with a drawstring, and these shorts are not going to slip down during a workout. The only thing I would change is the length, and that is entirely a personal preference. For what they are, they perform well, fit well, and are built well.
