Great shoe, basically comfortable for a professional shoe. I am a size 10 in vans and 8.5 shoe is what I wear..Here's the thing about the smell..It's made using PVC, which is a toxic chemical that companies use to create synthetic leather. I've done a little bit of research, and believe that these shoes are made through several series of chemical processes using ethylene and chlorine. The bottom line is that if you are morally/ethically opposed to the Chinese manufacturing of these shoes you should not buy them. They are a cheap solution to expensive shoes, and I like this style because the design pattern doesn't come to a point like wingtip shoes do. Read more
