I picked this up as a cheap backup roller, and for $5 it does what it’s supposed to. The 0.25 mm needles are beginner-friendly and feel more like a light prickling than actual microneedling, which makes it fine for boosting product absorption and mild exfoliation. This size is generally good for surface-level skin refresh, not deep enough for real collagen work or visible wrinkle reduction. For hair or beard regrowth, most people use 0.5 mm or 0.75 mm since 0.25 mm isn’t typically long enough to stimulate much response. Build quality is fine for the price, and it rolls smoothly, but it’s best thought of as an entry tool rather than a results-driven one. Read more

This is a really nice derma roller! It's a good price point, and once you're rolling more frequently, it's important to change them out regularly as the needles will dull. The roller came well packaged, very sleek and professional looking, and easy to tell it was still factory wrapped and not potentially used. I really like the feel of this roller, it makes for a very smooth application. Virtually pain-free while using, leaves a bit of a tingly sting after the fact, very mild and not truly painful. Seems to be working well and I would definitely re-order these. Read more
