Works great. It’s slightly noisy at first when cooling a room but is quiet once the room is at temperature. One note for casement windows: the hose is beg and doesn’t not bend well horizontally. I have a casement window. The window inserts that come with the AC are for sliding windows. So i will do my best to make this a quick a condensed review. Just don't... Firstly, the product listing is misleading at best considering i ordered a black version and received a white unit. Annoying but not the end of the world, given my circumstances I couldn't really complain and i needed a functional unit quickly. Bare in mind, though explicitly stated in multiple places on the product listing it was to be black it infact was not lol. Pros: Uh.. it blows cold air...when it wants too. Cons: The "dual hose" gimmick is really a hassle beyond words, it is very stiff and moving the unit simular to any other standing unit like this is not possible, the shape of the hose does not allow for side to side motion and versatility like other units like this. This is hands down one of the most frustrating "Smart" ac's ive ever had the displeasure of using. The remote is very poorly designed firstly and multiple functions of the unit are not use able with the remote OR app, it requires manually using button sequences on the unit itself such as holding the fan button to set continuous fan to be on (even when not cooling i preffer the fan running) the unit and remote do not interact together well, if you turn the unit on manually for example as you walk by, the remote is not useable until you turn it on with the remote (power on, and power on again before the remote communicates, this stands with the app as well) The app is useless i dont even want to spend 30 minutes explaining any further than that trust me its just flat out useless. The unit requires you to remind it to function on the room temperature which is very odd to me considering that's usually the whole point of a unit like this one. So you will spend a good amount of time hitting buttons (only on the remote of course, not the app or unit itself because that would all make to much sense) to check the room temperature, and cool to your settings. Otherwise it will just randomly say here have some cold air now im going to take a nap. Set at 65 degrees and the room temperature is 78 close enough. I cant even say it is energy efficient because it uses energy to power the leds while it sits idle and refuses to respond to whatever you set it to do. This leads me to my biggest annoyance, it does not remember settings. Temperature setting only. Everything else via app, unit controls, or remote has to be set up EVERY SINGLE TIME you power the unit on. The fan speed, or air flow angle, or "smart sense" even led brightness have to be reset every use, regardless of how you try to operate the unit. Read more

This portable AC unit does exactly what you want it to. I purchased it to keep a room in my house that hosts upwards of 4 computers cool and it does just that. Some of the features aren't very descriptive and the setup is a little steep, but after that it works like a charm. It has a bit of a whine that can be somewhat annoying and it isn't *too* quiet but its not loud enough to give me any reason to dislike it. My biggest piece of advice is to make sure the window you use is sealed well, as you can easily mess up the capabilities of this thing if you don't. Read more

Was worried about it being refurbished but has been absolutely amazing and for a amazing deal. Keeps are room extremely cold, it does sound like a jet taking off when it first starts but it's only a few seconds and then very quite. It doesn't take up much room and very easy to use. When using in heat mode this ac drains a lot of water. Up to the point that it stops working if it gets backed up. Ive used this in cold temps(25○F) and it would stop working in the middle of the night and id wake up freezing cause it was backed up with water. I'd have to empty it 2 times a night to stay warm. I bought this one in Dec 2024. I had bought another one from Costco a year before. I bought this one because the other one I had bought worked so well. This one has not let me down either. I have only be able to use it a couple of hours just in testing and it has worked well. I live in Tampa Florida so we normally have at lease 1 hurricane close enough for use to loss power for a few hours and it is hot. I only have sliding glass doors (extra large) in my living room and my bedroom. I made a plywood opening to run the portable hose through. I'm very happy with it so far. Lights started flashing and unit was beeping. Looked online to see what I could see and the only suggested fix was turn it off and then turn it back on and to try different power outlets. I turned it off and it wouldn't turn back on. Worked fine for about a month. These new machines are just doing way to much. Read more
