It works exceptionally well as a vacuum, good suction, and it lasts plenty long on a charge for my use case to the point the second battery feels like it probably was unnecessary. The said I use it mostly for the car, upholstery, and random spills, not vacuuming the entire house. Picks up my dogs hair without a fuss, and is relatively simple to empty. Being able to put the motor at either end is a really nice feature. If you are vacuuming floors, it’s nice that it’s not so top heavy at the handle, and it also stands up on its own where my old Dyson stick vacuum could not, but at the same time you don’t have a giant handle to deal with if you are using it as a hand vac. Having a wall Mount with a charging cradle and room for all the included accessories is also great, although you have to choose one configuration to store it in, as you need to mount it at very different heights depending. So I would recommend storing it with the motor at the top of the handle because for a quick job you *can* use it as a stick vac that way even if it’s less comfortable, and you can always reconfigure it if you are vacuuming your entire house for example. If you put it at the bottom, instead of just popping off the long tube for a nozzle, you will need to shuffle around the handle every time you want to use it as a hand vac, then again to put it back on the charger, so you might take more time shuffling parts around than actually cleaning for something quick. In general the whole setup oozes quality, which I would certainly hope given the price point. Honestly can probably get 90% of the performance and features for half the money, but if you want a premium product, it doesn’t disappoint. Read more

TL;DR I really had high hopes for this vacuum, but I can't recommend it, especially if you have allergies. Vacuum for 10 minutes, empty the dust bin, try not to breathe the dust cloud you just made, wipe everything down with with a damp rag, change the battery, rinse, repeat. My wife and I have owned and used Miele canister vacuums for over 30 years and highly recommend them. They're quiet, powerful, well made, and the HEPA filter and hygienic bag system are excellent for allergy sufferers. We wanted a cordless stick for small jobs and we bought a Miele Triflex HX2 Pro, knowing that we'd still need the canister for deep cleaning. In its defense, the Miele Triflex HX2 Pro is quiet, does a surprisingly good job of vacuuming on both carpets and hard floors, and the design and build quality are exceptional. Unfortunately, the battery runtime is really short and emptying the dust bin is a nightmare. We could live with the short run time (10-15 minutes per charge), but the bagless dust bin is a deal breaker. There's no way to empty it without creating a cloud of dust that goes everywhere. When you're done emptying it, there's fine dust clinging to the outside of the dust bin and rubber gaskets, and you'll need to wipe everything everything off with a damp rag. One more thing, the dust bin is really small, and you'll be doing this all the time. Samsung's Bespoke Jet has a bagged self-cleaning station. Who cares how good the filtration is if you wind up with a fluffy cloud of allergens every time you empty the vacuum. Read more

Good to have the second battery on hand as well as a way to charge the battery. Takes 4 hours to fully charge the battery. Quiet vacuum at all speeds. Light on unit is fantastic and very helpful to visualize the dust on the hardwood floors. Not the cheapest-but probably the best as Miele knows how to build a quality vacuum. Read more

This vacuum is worth your money. It has excellent suction power, and it helps that they added light to the vacuum so you can see clearly all the dust and debris. It perfectly removes all the hair knotted to carpets/rugs and vacuums on wooden floors. It gets in every corner and is easy to use and control. The vacuum is slim to fit between small spaces, such as under the couch. My only complaint is the battery life. When turned on full power, one battery lasts for about 45 minutes. The vacuum includes two batteries, so it solves the issue of limited battery life. Read more
