Mineral Fusion Liquid Eyeliner Ebony 0 1 Ounce Packaging May Vary

Update: So this is my second attempt at using mineral fusion liner because my old Elf brand was causing my eyelids to itch and Im pretty sure I even have more floaters in my eyes because of it. My plan this time though was to use the brush applicator from the Elf liner and put it on the Mineral Fusion one. It worked like a charm!!! I can now do my liner as usual with wings and full/thick application how I like. This product is great, it holds very well and is a perfect black color - their applicator just sucks horribly! But this solved my problems and Im sold now! It’s hard to see from the picture but this is a “marker” eyeliner, meaning the tip is like a pointer spongy marker. This makes the application process a little more tricky, especially when you’re trying to make a thin line. Also, you need to dip it frequently to get more liquid. Not a deal breaker, but since Im used to using thin brush liners...its going to take some getting used to. I love mineral fusion and their products so I will buy again but Im crossing my fingers they make a brush version. Read more

It’s pigmented but only for a short line. You have to get more product and it’s inconvenient to create a thin line as a lot of product comes out. It dries fast so if you try to go over it again to refine the line, the product will crumble. It feels stiff on your eyelid too. It doesn’t come easy on the inner lid but it does on the wing. It will crumble once it starts coming off. I would not buy again. Too bad it has less toxic materials but it doesn’t do the job well. Read more

In short: dries well without smudging, dries quick maybe too quick to put on, and brush is stiff foam. I like this eyeliner. Since switching over to clean makeup, it has been a challenge to find a eyeliner to do my fave cat eye. I previously used Maybelline liquid eyeliner. It was a gem but not healthy with all the chemicals. What I love about the mineral fusion liquid eyeliner is that it does not smudge once dry...and it dries quick! Maybe too quick because during application it struggles to get from one end to the other before it dries. Also the brush is not a brush at all. It is a hard foam like material that does not flex. It makes it difficult to get the perfect cat eye tip. Overall I am happy, but will be seeking other options. I have tried only one other clean liquid eyeliner by WELL People, but that does not dry and will smudge all day. As for now, mineral fusion is a great option! UPDATE! I absolutely love how clean and healthy this liner is, especially considering I can't find very many liquid eyeliners (this healthy) in brown. However, the product itself is just not it. The application is so messy, easily smudges, not long lasting, and much too watery. I wanted to love this product so much more than I do. I can't bring myself to a throw it out because of the clean ingredients and wanting to support this company, but I'd be surprised if I ever use it again (I've tried several times, seeing no promise of improvement) Read more

I got this several times and liked the product enough to pay what seemed like a lot. It was rated well by EWG and that means a lot to me. However, I don't understand what possessed the company to change the applicator to a hard inflexible stick. Now I see it on sale for a good price and I won't buy it because the applicator is difficult and even painful to use. I just don't know what they were thinking. I hope they are reading their reviews because it seems everyone hates the applicator. Read more

Love this eyeliner. Goes on easy. Excellent, slightly firm, brush. Deep, dark black in color. Never used a natural product that was so much like the "regular" commercial products out there and that was so dark black. Comes off easily, though chunckily, with lots of warm water. Never had it irritate my eyes. I am a contact wearer---I've applied the liner with and without contacts in--I've never experienced any problems. Read more

Just not a great formula. The brush is really stiff and has no give and the formula is so thin and streaky that as you're putting down product the brush is simultaneously scraping it back off. Even when using a separate brush dipped into the product, it still comes out streaky. You can attempt to apply multiple layers, but then there's a lot of product buildup which makes an unflattering texture and becomes flaky. After my I started rashing with puffy redness and itching to every other product out there, a turned to the EWG website and they verified this eyeliner. It takes some practice to get the application down since I'm not used to inkwell styles. I like the stiff felt tip to give me precision while Drawing it on. It's true that I need to do 2 layers because it is thin at 1st but once it's on it is on for the day! The only thing That takes it off is scratching like if You scratch an itch on your eyelash line. Otherwise it stays put all day absolutely love it. It's actually a little difficult to remove with just face soap and water definitely need a good eye make up remover. So relieved to find this awesome eyeliner after many trial-and-error Failures during my hunt for a non-irritating liquid eyeliner that lasts!! Read more
