Mineral Fusion Sheer Tint SPF Face Serum Light - Tinted Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Mineral Zinc Oxide Sunscreen

I love this tinted sunscreen. I purchased the medium at first, but then found the tint to be a bit too orange when combined with the mineral fusion foundation. I like to use the medium when I'm not using a foundation over it, like a day on the beach. The light tint, though is perfect under my foundation and provides a nice base tint. It does have a scent, but it doesn't bother me, especially since I know it's a super clean product. The ingredients have been recommended and approved by my naturopath and has not bothered my skin at all. It is very lightweight and rubs in easily. This is an excellent tinted sunscreen with broad spectrum SPF 50 protection. It provides a nice light coverage on its own, or can be worn under foundation. Looks good all day, doesn’t stain clothing. Update: I had to throw this away. Too much leakage. I couldn’t keep this in a makeup bag or use it without it making a huge mess. Original Review: I wanted to love this. I use a lot of other mineral fusion products from foundation to brow pencil, eye liner, lip butter, etc. I love the idea of lightweight coverage with SPF 50. I have fair skin and prefer spf in my makeup or tinted moisturizer. The product itself is decent and what I would have expected: a dewy, light coverage look. The main issue is that the dropper lid leaks. It’s not the twisting part that isn’t sealed, the actual squeezy part of the dropper that is the problem. It’s like the rubber is absorbing the oil from inside the bottle and then sweating it out. It makes a mess in a makeup bag and is a pain to use because the product gets everywhere. Yah!!! After much searching to find a higher SPF that doesn’t make me look like a white ghost, I’m so glad to have found this clean makeup option. Yes, it gives some sunshine, but I would say it’s more of a sun kissed dewy moisturized look. For someone who is looking for a full make up look, this might not be enough for them, but for someone who has pretty healthy and clear skin, it’s perfect. I have been squirting it into my hand and mixing it with my moisturizer and a little bit more see Buckthorne oil serum for an incredibly healthy protective facial routine and love it. Way too dark for me to use. Stored away on a shelf. Might work for a self-tanning product? I continuously protect my skin, and use Skinceuticals tinted product. This product IS MUCH DARKER. I can't use on my face. Read more

If you are on the fence, BUY IT! I bought "light" shade and it has a really nice pinkish undertone so it doesn't make your skin look yellow like EVERY other tinted sunscreen i have tried. Feels light and goes on easy. I will be a repeat customer for life. BIG PLUS it has 22% zinc oxide, which is rare to find in such a light, silky sunscreen. Don't know what magic they used because Zinc is like chalk, but this is amazing science. Read more
