Not recommended; lose connection and maintains battery % not charges

The battery itself recharges very fast and it is a nice concept. However, the battery pack maintained the current battery percentage and did not actually increase the charge %. It also wiggles at the charge stem and phone states to check charging cord connection. So, overall this battery pack did not perform as intended and was returned after attempting to use it with 2 different phones with the same result. Read more

I don't know man... This was exactly what I was looking for. It's basically a single cell 5k mAh purple battery in a little black plastic case with a side mounted usb-c plug... It has no buttons and no digital display just a tiny series of LEDs to give you a rough estimate of how much charge is left or needs. It's no fast charger by any means but the point is that it's small enough that you attach it to your phone and it becomes part of it for the time being. It has the same capacity as just about any modern phone so why would you expect it to be able to charge your phone more than a single time or twice at 50%? Here's a couple of not so common sense protocols you need to follow to maintain these little devices functional... 1: don't forget it on your phone until all the lights disappear...😑 This is a surefire way to destroy this device. That's just how lithium batteries are. If you drain them past a certain point they die... 2: just because you decided not to use it for a couple of months, don't just leave it plugged into a charger... A simple little battery like this is not going to have a very complex logic chip. It will continue to overcharge generating heat and destroying the battery. Yeah...
