I normally use the wall plug hydro pic but I’m about to move into a dorm and I wanted something more portable. This mini hydro pic works great for that job. The size is compact and the sound is quiet so it has great portability. The biggest flaw is probably the water tank, I normally use 2 tanks of water on the regular hydro pic but for this one it’s more like 4-5 tanks. A bit annoying in that way. This small water pik works great for traveling. I charged it before my trip, and then plugged it in once during a 3 nt trip just to ensure it was charged. It takes 2 fills to do my entire mouth but its no trouble. Plenty of power and several tips to select from. Great product. Read more

I’ve used a full-size Waterpik for many years, so I wasn’t sure how a compact travel version would compare — but I’m genuinely impressed with the Piksters HydroPik Mini. Despite its small size, it delivers excellent performance. The flosser has multiple pressure settings, and I found the first setting to be perfect: strong enough to clean well without being overwhelming. The water tank is easy to fill, and the unit comes with multiple nozzles (including duplicates), which is a thoughtful touch for travel. I especially like the onboard nozzle storage and the way the whole unit folds up into a very compact form factor. Rechargeability via USB-C is another big plus — no extra cords or bulky chargers to carry around. The only minor issue I’ve noticed is that if I invert the flosser to reach the backside of my lower teeth, a small amount of water can leak from the fill port. It’s not a dealbreaker for me, especially since this is mainly for travel and I can adjust my technique. It still provides a solid water-flossing experience. I purchased this in April 2025 for use while travelling. I used it in May for 2 weeks, and it was great. Now it won't charge. My return window for Amazon has closed. I contacted the manufacturer and received confirmation that there is a 2 year warranty on this product; however I cannot use it. I live in the United States, and the manufacturer informed me that they do not ship outside of Australia so they would not be able to send me a replacement. UPDATE: After I posted the above review I received notification from the manufacturer. They apologized for the confusion regarding the warranty and stated they they have instructed their staff on the correct procedure. I received a replacement device today. As I was very happy wih the performance of the original device when I used it on vacation, I have changed my rating of the product as well as the manufacturer. Read more

This is in fact a great water flosser for travel. However it does need filled about 5 times for a good floss session. It has decent power, is easy to use and easier to store. Read more
