Just received this yesterday, but want to encourage people to purchase through here, it is more than $3/can less expensive than others available locally, and online. I had four surgeries last year, which caused quite a bit of hair loss; instead of waiting to see if it grows back now that I'm healing, a friend recommended Minoxidil, which she has used for her hair loss. I started last night and will post back here in a few months, to review results. At this point, though, if you are going to try it, compare prices, this can't be beat! Read more

I ordered this because the kind I normally buy wasn't available. I should have just waited. The aerosol can this comes in has a very inconsistent flow. Sometimes you barely squeeze and it rockets out, other time you fully depressed the actuator and it barely flows. In either case, the foam is very thin and quickly collapses. On top of that, it is noticeably oily. Not quite as bad as the some of the non-foaming liquid I've tried, but bad enough that I stopped using it. Will not be buying this brand again. Read more

Not sure if it’s doing anything after a few months of usage. But my biggest gripe is how the foam doesn’t stick long enough before it falls off…..not giving me a chance to wipe it into my skin. I’m sticking with liquid next time. Read more

I appreciate that they included Biotin in the product. Many of us are taking Biotin anyway, so adding the vitamin into the product may save time and money if you choose to eliminate the oral version. FOAM: the foam is nice, but if your hair loss is still minimal, it will be hard to miss your hair and put it only on your scalp. You'll also want to make sure you have time to cool your hands--the foam melts fast. If your hands are too warm, it will dissipate before you have time to transfer it to your scalp and/or to rub it it. As for the main ingredient, Minoxidil, it has a decades-long reputation for helping people to regrown hair. My dermatologist recommended that I try it. My stylist/hair specialist does scalp treatments (cleansing the follicles) and red-light therapy--both of which cost significantly more than this two-month supply of Minoxidil! Even my "fancy" liquid biotin costs more. What I didn't know is the potential side effect of growing hair in places you don't want/need to! Based on research, it seems that 5% is the max recommended. I also ordered the 2.5% version. I am going to stick with that. If I don't have any adverse reactions (none yet), I'll move up to 5% and see how things go. At the moment, I am not willing to risk adding extra hair anywhere other than at the crown of my head. Read more

I bought this because of its price and the fact that it has 5% topical minoxidil foam like all the others, but this one will leave your hair as if you haven’t washed it. Your hair will feel oily and look like you need to clean it again. I bought another brand so that I can use in the morning for my day and will use this one at night before bed until it runs out. It’s cheap, but you get what you pay for. Read more

The foam is easy to apply and feels lightweight. I’m hopeful to see some improvement after using it for a while. Read more

This is not the same as Kirkland Brand or Amazon Brand . It’s watery and does make your hair feel a bit oily. All minoxidil foam is not created equally. It’s non returnable so think twice about the low cost . Read more
