I was so surprised when I saw these! In the middle of each butterfly is an actual little rhinestone! I mean a "bedazzled" blemish patch! How cool is that? So, these stick firm to the card (which is great because you will never have any wasted product). And, these stick really, really firmly to your blemish. It will not ever slip or accidentally come off ... that would be practically impossible. So great! And, these go to work so fast! The patch protects your blemish from outside forces (i.e. your hands!) and it delivers healing goodness! I absolutely adore the concept behind this! Highly, highly recommended! Read more

These seem to work just a tiny bit less well than other ones I've tried that are the clear circle type. It's not such a huge difference that it would really matter if you'd be willing to wear this but not the other type, for visual reasons when leaving the house, but if you're just at home or sleeping then I'd pick a different one. They're also significantly more expensive: $23.97 for 80 when I got them, though there's no price listed now - that's about 30 cents for one patch, where the ones I've tried have generally been 15 to 20 cents for one patch (with an outlier that was 5.5 cents for one, that works as well as the rest). Obviously you're paying for more than just the patch functionality, but... as fun as it is, I don't think I'd get it again, for that reason. They stay stuck on well enough. The shape makes the center the narrowest part, which is a bit unfortunate since that's probably where you'd want it to be the widest. The individual sheets are each in their own sealed packet, and they all come in a clear plastic bag that has a bunch of blue stuff printed on it... which... mine arrived with a lot of the blue having rubbed off of the bag and onto the inside of the shipping envelope. So if you do get them, probably don't order them at the same time as anything else. Other that, the same thing I've written in other reviews of acne patches applies here, too (I've just been putting it in with all of my reviews of these patches, because I hope it's useful information for someone): ~ "They definitely work - sometimes. I did a bit of researching and from what I read, these kinds of patches are intended for pimples that are nearer to the surface of the skin, or if you're willing to poke down into one with a needle or something to open it up (and they can work on bug bites too if you do that). Apparently what they do is absorb moisture / etc, so I guess they can only reach so far down beneath your skin from where they sit on the surface. As far as the 'sometimes': I stuck the patches on several places with no visual difference, and they worked on some and not on others, so I'm not sure how to tell 'this is a good spot to use one on' versus 'it won't be helpful here'. On the places where they worked, it was a noticeable difference." Read more

I wasnβt sure if I would like these hydrocolloid patches as I typically just use the normal ones. However, sometimes I am self conscious that people can see the transparent patch, as I catch even the barista staring. These look like stickers on the face and act as the healing agent for any acne blemishes! It just looks like I was playing with my nieces instead of actually working to better my skin. No one even says anything when I have these stickers on my face. Hydrocolloid patches work in a few hours by sucking out the moisture and buildup in each pore. I change after a few hours or leave on overnight. If you have a blemish that isnβt oozing then I poke it with a sanitized needle and then place this patch on it - it keeps my hands off and stops me from squeezing and further scaring my face. These are the cutest pimple patches, but considering their purpose they aren't practical. I ordered these for my tween daughters to use at night on stubborn blemishes and they simply do not stay in place, even after cleansing the face and applying. Every night we have used them, the end up completely off the face or in a different location than where they were placed. Choose form over style - there are plenty of other patches on this site that don't look cute, but stay in place and work. Read more

Miss Spa Pretty Pimple Patches tend to fall off shortly aft putting on if it's anywhere on your face with movement, especially in wrinkle lines. So annoying. However, at times (~40%) they do get rid of, or at least work on, pimples and add some design/sparkle to your face. Just wish they worked better. I suggest foregoing these and getting those off white round ones. They work way better. Read more

I am in my late 40's with adult cystic acne and have four tweens and teens that also have acne. We like using patches for overnight pimple care. This in unique in that they are the first patches I have seen that aren't simply clear round stickers. These take acne care the opposite direction -- if you are bold enough to wear these, which I am not. But my daughters love having the butterflies and the tiny gems on their face. These are not large enough to cover my cystic acne but works well for whiteheads. Basic use of patches is to clean your face, apply over the zit, and let it do it's thing overnight. For whiteheads, it will draw the pus out and the patch will turn white. Often one use is enough to clear those up. For my cystic acne it is more of relief than cure . . . often they will need to be punctured to draw anything out, and although they will be flat and feel good in the morning, they will refill through the day and need to have a patch again at night. Most brands say you can wear them in the day but honestly the clear ones are hard to miss when they fill with the white gunk. But these solve that problem as you can't see the gross stuff on your face. Read more
