I am absolutely thrilled with this dress in. I initially bought it to wear to a wedding, and it was a stunning choice, but I've since found myself wearing it to work functions as well. It's the perfect dress for a variety of occasions! The fit is simply perfect and incredibly flattering. This is truly such a beautiful dress that is very flattering on my plus size frame. I normally wear an xl but I went up to a 2x, I have plenty of room especially in the arm area. Pros: 1. The dress drapes beautifully. I added a white slim belt to the midsection but the design alone will carry this outfit. 2. The Embroidery design adds such a classic touch. 3. Perfect for work or a special occasion. 4. I like that this dress has a higher neck line that still looks flattering. 5. I have bigger arms and the sleeves have a perfect give to them which is sometimes what I worry about when I see such a slim fitting sleeve. I cannot comment how it would have fit if I went down to an XL though. Con's: 1. This dress is ITCHY wherever there is embroidery. I was a little shocked to see so much embroidery and for it to have no soft touch bonding covering it up brings this down a star. Luckily I'm an embroiderer so I had some heat bond soft touch interface on hand and applied it to the arms. It did just the trick! But the manufacturer of this dress really should have already applied it. Since I tend to normally wear this with a Capri or full legging I did not do to skirt hemline but if you intend to have the skirt touch your bare skin do be prepared to need soft touch interfacing to alleviate the itch. Normally this con would have me sending a garmet back, but honestly it's such a beautiful dressed and designed so well for my frame, it's hard to find stuff like that so I improvised. Read more

This is such a lovely dress! It fits like it was made for me (and as a size 16-18 at 5' 2", that is definitely not always the case), and it is super flattering. The fabric is of good quality - thick enough to not show every lump and bump, but still has plenty of give and is very soft. The dress falls just below my knees and the neckline hits about the width of 3-4 fingers beneath my clavicle. I purchased it for my brother's summer garden wedding, and it will be perfect for that, but can also see adding a cardigan or white blazer to style it for the office as well. My only complaints, and minor ones at that, are that the back of the embroidery is somewhat itchy and the way the dress was packaged left wrinkles with a slight shine to them. I'll need to be sure to iron inside out or else with a sheet over the top of it. Read more
