Good Quality and Great Aesthetics
I did a lot of research comparing Shun and Miyabi Global and MAC. Found these to be reasonably priced for SG2 steel and look very nice. Reasonably sharp out of the box and I like the balance and feel of the handles. These are very good quality with great aesthetics which is what I wanted. If you want absolute best quality go with a small maker and forget about a matching set. If you want absolute best quality and the aesthetics of these knives you will pay much more. All in all I am happy with the purchase but wont be using either the shears or the hone in favor of a ceramic hone and better quality shears.
