After a couple months testing this product I can say that it works perfectly. It was delivered into a well protected enclosure with shock absorbers, this product was sent overseas without any change to it's original packaging. After installation (just as any normal hard drive on a laptop) there hasn't been any problems, reboots, blue/black screens, it's a really quite drive and hardly makes any sound. installed and loaded o/s no issues. smooth and quiet operation, best deal i could find and I scoured the web.maybe you will have better deal some where else but I doubt it. I feel confident when buying from Amazon, the merchants bend over back wards to make you happy. this is a small hdd by todays standards but if you don't store a ton of movies or save every video you have ever seen then this is plenty big enough.
