Long-Review of Super-Bright SuperLamp: Right out of the box, I couldn’t be more happy with my brand new SuperLamp! It assembled so well (right out of the box), as described on the video attached here to the Amazon listing. And Oh my gosh, the Brightness Level, at highest setting, is off the charts, just as advertised. I got this to replace an old 300 Watt Halogen Torchiere Floor Lamp that I was quite happy with for its brightness for my 11’ by 12’ Bedroom. But it burned out and I couldn’t find a replacement Halogen since they discontinued production of them. I was very, very concerned with being able to find a suitable replacement: something Bright enough, and also made as a Torch-Like Floor Lamp illuminating upwards to the ceiling. My old halogen burned at 5600 Lumens brightness, so I needed something equivalent or better. Most of the more economically priced replacement lamps are less than 4500 Lumens brightness. But this new SuperLamp is Super-Bright, with up to 8000 Lumens of Brightness. I was most concerned with how it would look and feel in my bedroom as a replacement for my old halogen. Immediately upon placing it in the room and turning it on to full power, it lit up my bedroom space brighter than it has ever been lit, easily surpassing the old halogen. At highest setting it is so bright, that I typically now see that I only need to use it at lower dimmed levels. But it is oh so nice to know that I can turn it up to full if and whenever I want more light-brightness. The dimmer is terrific in that it allows you to go from 100% brightness, progressively down to 0 % off, a nice easy dimmer that works great. And the lamp looks great, just like in the pictures, with a sturdy quality of materials, that were easy to assemble right out of the box. It comes with a really nice white translucent torch-shaped cover/base, that allows light to flow both up and out and down, and all without a problematical glare, even thus when in direct eye view. Also it came with (5) 14 Watt, 1600 Lumen, 3000K A19-style LED Bulbs, already installed, and ready to go. Together that is 8000 Lumens, at highest setting, just as advertised. Plenty of light for a room of 11’ x 12’, (even bright enough to read in/under). And just so you know, you can change out the bulbs to other Kelvin color ranges and Lumens levels, if you are so inclined to do so. It also thus allows for easy bulb replacement for if or whenever the LED bulbs may burn out. It cost a bit more than I was hoping I was going to have to spend to replace my old halogen. But once I saw how bright and sturdy and functional it was advertised to be, I knew that it would be worth it if it lived up to its billing. Well so far it does, and then some. I will still need to see how it holds up and performs over many years, but as of now, right out of the box, I couldn’t be more pleased than what I have just now acquired with this affordable replacement for my old halogen. So if you are someone looking for a very hard to find Super-Bright capable replacement for something like an old bright halogen torchiere floor lamp, with high Lumens, you have just now found it. Thus, I couldn’t recommend this any higher!!! PS. The product comes with a full 1-year warranty. And it is my understanding that the company that makes and sells this lamp is known for good customer service. Great elegant functional lamp. Very strong light, regulated dimming. It is my main living room light. I work using the light. I warmly recommend it. Besides they have a very good support and service. React very fast on your questions. I took pictures onmax and min but camera accomodated to it so you can't see the real difference. The lamp ishiger than me so it gives a lot of light around. Not sure what the other reviews are saying, but I think this is a very nice and sturdy floor lamp. It has a properly proportioned heavy base, and looks good, too. Anyone with common sense will be able to properly assemble the lamp in 10 minutes. It only has 5 pieces! And super bright lumens that can be adjusted with the smooth operating dimmer switch. I liked the first one so much that I bought a second. The design and manufacture are good quality. The amount of light provided is exceptional (and with LED there is minimal electricity used or heat generated). The wonderful design sends most of the light to bounce off of the ceiling, which means that the light seems to come from everywhere - photographers call it "soft" light. And enough light goes downward (through the plastic dish shade) to make it a perfect reading lamp. DO NOT distress that the shade is plastic - it is well made and looks for all the world like glass but is much lighter in weight and much safer. But I'm sorry to say that the dimmer module failed after a month or so. I replaced it with a simple on/off switch (a process that most folks would probably not want to undertake). So far my second lamp's dimmer is still functional. So it's a strong 5 except a 1 for the dimmer. I gave it a 4. If you want a ton of soft light even for a large room... buy it. Read more

I bought my first Superlamp and loved it so much that I ordered a second one right away. The second lamp started flickering, so I contacted Superlamp directly. Their customer service was outstanding—they told me they had updated bulbs to fix the issue and sent me a new set for free with expedited shipping. After installing them, the lamp works perfectly! If you’re looking for a bright and modern floor lamp, this is the one to get. Yes, it’s a little pricier than some others, but it’s absolutely worth every penny. These are by far the brightest lamps I’ve found and they light up my home office beautifully.
