Unparalleled. Sturdy when on lap, on couch, in bed. Anywhere. 2 great typing and viewing angles. Solidly built with strong magnets and an appealing aesthetic. Still only weighs about 3 ounces, so can fit in any slim laptop bag. The $30.00 price tag is more than worth it imho. I have this mostly on my lap, sitting on the couch. There is enough of a base to keep my MacBook Air steady even under these conditions. Now I’m stuck with a dozen other folding stands that cannot come close to this! Read more

I got this stand because I liked the height and slimness. I'm loving it. I even bought 2 more for my husband. For tall height, you need to find the balance to keep the laptop stable and after few use, you'll get used to it. It's very light and easy to carry around. It feels durable as well. It adds lot more height so that I don't crouch when I use my laptop. It was one of the best finds ever. Read more

While this product is a little expensive for its relative quality and durability, it has MOFT's signature "Good Enough" faux leather-ish material with a decent rubber grip surface, its thinness and lightness for a laptop stand makes this basically unmatched. There are few other options on the market that give you the sturdiness and security that this will with being thin enough to slide into a sleeve alongside the laptop. Works and looks fantastic with my 14" MacBook Pro and improves the ergonomics when traveling. Read more

Hesitant to spend 30 bucks, but I couldn't find another stand that this aggressively. Once the laptop is sitting, its also very sturdy, even on my 17 inch gaming laptop. Was also happy that it actually stays closed in its folded state, rather than some of these stands which actually flops around a fair bit. Expensive, but happy with the product for sure. Read more

The product was sent neatly packaged with a manual, and sticky rubber stoppers you're supposed to stick on the bottom of your laptop to keep it from slipping off the stand. The stand itself is really flimsy, but extremely portable (it closes flat). It's a real trade-off sort of ordeal, but I thought it was worth it since setting this thing up anywhere is real convenient and helps relieve my wrists pretty well. I'd be weary about putting heavy laptops on it though, specifically when you place it on the stand. If it already has rubber stoppers that touch the stand when you set it up, don't put the sticky ones on too, the built in ones will work. Read more

Liked the form factor and had previous good experience with Moft. Unfortunately this stand just doesn't work for my (14") laptop. The stand is only barely stable when the laptop is in full contact with the table (so not even fully on the stand!) whether at the lowest or highest settings. The lowest setting is also not quite "sturdy" feeling - it requires weight to push it down and if you shift your laptop at all it'll spring back up to the higher setting. Even at the higher setting, which feels like the intended use case as it's a genuine struggle to manage to fold the little flap in place until the weight of the laptop can keep it down, it wobbles like crazy when you type or mouse. God forbid you shift the laptop at all. I planned to use it with an external keyboard anyways, but for any users that were planning on utilizing the Moft for better ergonomics while typing...this isn't it. Overall it's just not acceptable to me for $30. It's a thin piece of what feels like plain foam (even though the materials are listed as vegan leather and fiberglass - I don't disbelieve that, but the product itself just feels cheap) and seeing other users have issues with longevity and the stand not holding itself up after half a year or so as well as battery bloat from lack of proper airflow, I don't feel comfortable using this anymore. Great concept but falls a bit short in execution imo. PROS + thin, light, and folds flat + relatively intuitive + suspect it will travel well due to its barely there thinness and light weight - it can easily slip into a sleeve along with the laptop CONS - does not support my laptop even though mine is over an inch under the max dimensions listed (and isn't even particularly heavy at 1.6kg - technically lightweight); my laptop needs to rest against the table surface or else it'll fall backwards - typing will cause it to wobble - materials feel kind of cheap - doesn't seem like the middle flap will last a long time supporting the entire stand mechanism Read more

I am not sure how to rate this… I definitely can’t give 5 stars… there are a few things that makes this less practical. I would like to see better durability… kind flimsy. It also needs some type of adhesive to your device to keep in place. The two stoppers placed at the bottom of the device, not sure if it does what it is intended to do. I haven’t had this product long and I want to like it. I have a 17in laptop and it’s less than impressive…. However, I want to like this product. Maybe mine is just not right… Read more
