I've used the very popular carpet squares brand (the one that rhymes with door) in my living room and on the treads of my indoor wood stairs, and on the stair landing. It was time for a refresh and I found these. This brand is s very reputable carpet company within interior design industry. Each square is markedly larger than the other more popular brand, so you get more for your money. These are also much lighter than the other brand so easier to install. These actually have adhesive on the backing, so I can lay them down and not worry about them sliding around / off of the stair treads, if our clumsy puppies are going up or down the stairs. All I needed to do was insure the wood stairs were well cleansed, no dust or grime and nice and dry, before sticking them down. These are also very easy to cut yourself to the shape you need. These look great and I am very happy my doggos no longer have a trip hazard on the stairs. Perfect for my needs! Great color (it's a lighter color than the picture made me believe, which is just what I wanted) and it's a very easy product to work with. All you need is some sharp scissors. Might even need a pair of scissors because if your doing a big space the scissors will defintely wear out. Once you begin to do a few cuts and fits you get the hang of it very quickly. It's very satisifying to be able to lay your own carpet because it saves you a lot of money. Read more

Had to buy a second box of this carpet to finish a project on a home I'm selling. The carpet is fine. Looks good, but could use more/better adhesive. Have to glue down a few spots... HOWEVER. Shipping got pushed back and now it will be delivered a WEEK late. Amazon has been messing up on deliveries for me lately. Just sayin'. Read more

out of 8 packages 1 was very discrepencied off color !!! but that being said the carpet squares look Very Good inDeed !!! 2 benefits i disnt even think about is the black color hides wires naturally blend in & black color made room less bright , which for me was a Good Thing Read more

I used these in my basement to give it a finished look and not break the bank. I have two large dogs that are in and out of this area so I needed something that could stand up to that type of foot traffic. They were so easy to install and I cannot believe how good it makes the space look. Even cutting them to fit certain areas was easy. They're attached to concrete and they stay in place, never lift up, and the backing is sticky enough to stay firmly in place. Absolutely love this HOWEVER make sure you order all what you need at the same time. I had to order another box and the color is much darker. Also, it is not supposed to shed, but my roomba is full EVERYDAY. So hoping it’s less as times goes by. Otherwise, great product and fun to put together. Read more
